If it weren’t for Cruz the gang of eight bill would have been a fait accompli. For those of you in Rio Linda that’s a done deal.

Pro amnesty Cruz did nothing to stop the gang of 8 bill, it passed the Senate remember. Cantor losing his election to an unknown who campaigned solely to stop amnesty killed the gang of 8 bill. This is a well known fact.

Baloney. The Gang of Eight Bill failed because House members went home on August break and got an earful from their constituents. Cruz’s “poison pill” didn’t do diddly. The Senate overwhelmingly passed the Gang of Eight bill. It was stopped in the House.

Uh huh, never mind the inconvenient fact that it passed the Senate and fell apart after Cantor was booted.

But keep the fairy tale of super duper poison pills that only special people understand.
