Hillary Clinton would crush Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election match-up, a new national survey found.
According to a Bloomberg Politics poll released Wednesday, Clinton leads Trump 54 percent to 36 percent in a contest between the two front-runners.
Also troubling for Trump – nationally, only 29 percent of likely general election voters have a favorable view of him, compared to 68 percent who view him negatively.
Trump’s favorability rating is at an all-time low in the survey, while his negative rating has gone up 13 points since November and hit a new high.

When I was at the polls yesterday in Arizona, I was astounded by the number of Independents wanting to vote for Trump.
They were disappointed that they had to be registered Republicans to do so.
My observations were echoed by news media all over the State, though they did not say they wanted to vote for Trump.
I voted for Cruz, but I like Trump as well. I would like to see them join forces. It was a difficult choice. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. But from what I saw, Trump has a good chance of a landslide win in the General.

We are talking several political lifetimes between now and November.
Quit being obsessed by these idiot polls that mean nothing.
Reagan ,for example, was behind Carter by at least 17 points before the fall campaign even started and ended up winning.
So way too much time before we get down to real business and people actually start thinking about this.
Intuitively it doesn’t make sense.
Trump won’t back down and play nice like the liberals that ran as Republicans the last two times. Trump won’t accept losing like mclame and mitt did.

I don’t believe it. Too many Dems are voting for Trump, and there is a real deficit of enthusiasm on Clinton’s side, whereas Trump supporters are prepared to crawl over broken glass on election day.
Trump will smoke her like a cheap cigar.
Trump would get at least 12-15% of Dems crossing over, plus 1/3 of Bernie voters say they will not vote Hillary. She doesn’t have any votes to spare. With voter fraud, she wins.
