Unfortunately rush carried water for cruz the entire first hour. He went well beyond just describing recent events and what was going on with each candidate. He did a commerical for cruz. Uncalled for. The only saving grace was he did say sooner or later we all have to come together but he stopped being fair and balanced the first hour. Now he has changed the topic and going after the dbm. but it won’t work he screwed up the entire first hour.

Rodguy.... I listened today as we were in the car and my husband wanted to listen to Rush. What I think I was hearing was almost contempt for any caller who did not agree with him re Cruz. That comment he made to his final caller was extremely rude. What the hell was that about? In all the years I’ve listened to him, I do not recall the level of snark and sarcasm being directed to callers who do not share his opinion.

I guess one thing that is in the back of my mind is that what he does can be draining both mentally and physically. I know from experience. Many a day I crawled out the studio after three hours,totally exhausted.

Yeah, I've been think of that over the past few weeks, actually. I would assume Rush instructs Snerdley which calls to take, and which not to take.

Made me furious during the *weeks* that Rush ranted on and on about DeflateGate. I'm certain there were many callers who wanted to discuss politics, but Rush probably only wanted the NFL callers on air.

I heard the part of the program where he was describing pundits, especially those who are invested in a candidate, an outcome, or a party, who are also invested in their own self-worth, as influential. When that bubble pops or is threatened, they lash out at the object that threatens their investment, Trump.

On reflection, that applies to any of us (not necessarily with Trump as the object), and it applies to Limbaugh, too.

I’m lost too. I’ve been a diehard Rush supporter since tuning him in back about 1991. I listened every day, bought his books, subscribed to The Conservative Chronicle, American Spectator, National Review, etc. When his newsletter became available, I subscribed to that and also 24/7. I’ve let them all lapse. Even bought his tea. Now as we stand on the precipice of a national voter revolution, Rush takes up the side opposing us. I cannot forgive him for that. He isn’t stupid so I have to arrive at the conclusion that he is not one of us but rather one of them, the despised political elite. It all makes me sad.
