Donald Trump on Wednesday kept up his attack against Ted Cruz by claiming the Texas senator is behind a recent ad showing Trump's wife Melania in the nude.
Trump first accused Cruz on Tuesday of circulating a provocative image of Melania from a January 2000 photoshoot with GQ Magazine. In the accusation posted to Trump's Twitter account, the brash businessman also said he would "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife, Heidi.
But the Texas senator said he had "nothing to do" with the ad after the anti-Trump Make America Awesome PAC took credit for it.
On Wednesday, Trump slammed "Lyin' Ted Cruz" over his repeated assurance that he took no part in the development or circulation of the ad.
Cruz hit back at Trump Wednesday morning – hours before the billionaire's latest tweet – during an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo.
"It reveals a lot about class, that Donald's instinct is to try to attack my wife and sully her," he said.

I guess you missed the news article about Trump discarding PACS when he discovered that he could neither control nor coordinate with a PAC. He was going to organize his own PACS up until he was enlightened as to the restrictions.
Melania poses nude in 2000 for GQ magazine. She did so willingly and presumably got paid quite a bit for it.
What's all the fuss here? Isn't Trump proud of his wife, isn't he proud that she was getting lots of money for posing in magazines without clothes on? Doesn't he like to see nude women in magazines, including his wife?
Why in the world would Trump claim this ad was a dirty trick?
No one hid in another room and took a photo of Meliamia aa she left the shower in search of a towel.
That would be a dirty trick but not when she is paid to pose nude and everyone who buys GQ or reads it online have seen Melania nude. What's the big deal?

Along the same reasoning, Trump could display Cruz’ wife’s mental illness and say ,”Here is your next first lady. Then Cruz could be proud about it and say that she is mentally imbalanced but she is his nut. Nothing wrong right!

The ad was an explicit solicitation to vote for Cruz. That's where it crossed the line.
