Cruz's college roommate is on an epic 10-month Twitter rant

Mazin has seriously kicked it up a notch since Cruz launched his presidential campaign in March 2015 and has been one of his most vocal critics. There are personal shots from their time together 25 years ago, but he also weighs in on Cruz’s positions as they relate to the presidential campaign.

The hatred clearly runs deep.

“I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States,” Mazin told the Daily Beast in 2013. “Anyone. I would rather pick somebody from the phone book.”

He’s also called Cruz “a nightmare of a human being.”

“I have plenty of problems with his politics, but truthfully his personality is so awful that 99 percent of why I hate him is just his personality,” Mazin said on the Scriptnotes podcast in October 2013. “If he agreed with me on every issue, I would hate him only one percent less.”

Mazin isn’t alone in his dislike of Cruz, as Donald Trump has called him a “nasty guy” while saying “nobody gets along with Ted.

Its the very same argument you Trumpettes are making. If Cruz doesn’t refute the random person making statements against Trump then Cruz is a liar.

But hey at least you have double standards.

But Ted gets on so well with Glenn Beck..

Beck knows and understands more about the commie left than most people could ever dream of. He educated millions on the ins and outs of the movement, naming names, exposing connections to the demonRat party, etc. And he did in a clear, easy to follow, classroom-like manner using charts, diagrams, video, etc. A large part of his off-the-wall antics has to do with being entertaining, so that people with short attention spans and other various learning disorders would stick around long enough to perhaps learn something.

I’d dump on mine. I don’t despise them but I’d tell a few tales and can certainly see how someone could get you riled up after all those years. There are some real wackadoodles out there and I had more than my fair share:

1 - the druggie ho who within the first 5 minutes plastered the walls and the bathroom suite with posters of naked men. She claimed to have serviced half of the rich married who’s who in Ft. Worth. It was believable as she was out a lot. I kicked the skank out at the end of that first short summer semester and she dropped out after the second summer semester. She had bragged about going to T. Cullen Davis’ (there’s a wiki page if you don’t know him) with a “date” and it was a few weeks later in August that the murders occurred.
2 - that next summer session was a girl who’s brother (some big company executive) was involved in something... never found out what but it involved big powerful scary dudes. A group of us made the mistake of stopping by the brother’s unexpectedly on the way to a weekend at her parents - undercover cop in the ceiling, two more in a van in the parking lot, a black mustang that drove by and signaled when we went out to eat and some guy who confronted my bf in the restaurant restroom. We told her parents and they confirmed it with the brother and blam! her dad had a heart attack.
3 - next was the crazy freak who cooed like a dove 24/7. I stayed out of the room as much as possible, got a job and hung out anywhere but the dorm room. She didn’t come back the next semester and left all her stuff.
4 - then there was the crybaby who missed her bf back home so much she dropped out within two weeks. Couldn’t pull herself out of bed to go to class for all her bawling and crying and pity party. Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid thing was a HS valedictorian so had a 4 year free ride but lost that semester and likely the whole scholarship because she soon married the guy during his HS senior year.

After that, I paid for a private room. Funny thing, they never advertised private rooms but when I asked, the charge was $7 extra per semester. Yep, seven little dollars, lol.

“In all the nasty side antics, few have noticed that now Donald is clearly the most Conservative candidate in the race.”

most conservative? lol wow

Is support for Planned Parenthood conservative?
Is support for Universal Health Care conservative?

How about gun control? Which side is he on today?
How about unions?

He’s hardly a conservative. He has never supported a conservative position in his life.

"I despised my first college roommate (and the feeling was mutual). But I doubt I’d dump on him after 25 years ( or 40 as the case may be)."

Was his ex-roommate gay? (*Note to PC Principal: "Not that there is anything wrong with that.")

I can see Cruz The Debater getting under the skin of a gay roommate enough that he'd still dump on him after 100 years.

Here's Trump in 2013 touting communist Bill de Blasio for mayor of New York City. He was 67 years-old at the time.

Fred Dicker: What is it going to mean for Donald Trump to have Bill de Blasio as [New York City] Mayor? "

Donald Trump: "He's a smart guy that knows what's going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York."

(Voice Over: That was Donald Trump a little over two years ago, endorsing [Marxist] Bill de Blasio for New York Mayor)

Donald Trump: "I think pretty strongly that he'll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor."

(Voice Over: De Blasio ran on class warfare, sanctuary cities and ending stop and frisk. De Blasio's sided with looters and cop killers against the police, with teachers unions against schoolchildren and with PC liberals to let the homeless run wild on city streets)

Donald Trump: "I think he is going to want to make New York great. ..."

Meet the Press, 1999:

Russert asked Trump about gay marriage. Trump didn't want to comment on it, but said he has no problem with gays in the military.

He explained, "I've lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa."

When Russert asked Trump about abortion, he said he's "pro-choice in every respect" and again cited his New York background, which he said has a "different attitude" from most of the country

Trump told CBN's "The Brody File" [in April 2011] that gay people were "tremendous" and that "there can be no discrimination against gays."

Aug 2015

"It's not the first time Trump has taken a pro-LGBT stance. As far back as 2000, Trump was advocating the idea of amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation - something the currently-pending Equality Act would basically do if lawmakers on Capitol Hill ever decided to pass it.

"Amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans - it’s only fair," Trump told The Advocate in February, 2000.

In the same interview, Trump said he favored "a very strong domestic-partnership law" that guaranteed same-sex couples equal legal rights as married, heterosexual couples.

Trump also said he believed Don't Ask, Don't Tell - the military's then-ban on openly gay service members - had "clearly failed."

Trump's spokesperson, Hope Hicks, did not immediately respond to msnbc's request for comment on where the presidential candidate stood on the Equality Act. But his longstanding support for ending discrimination against gay people has been well documented. ..."

Because, in a Presidential election, political positions aren’t really important. Personality is. Perhaps if Cruz would start calling people dummies and liars, people would like him more?

Like it or not, personality and appearance are big factors in all of our lives. Cruz doesn't seem at ease with himself. He reminds me of Kerry/Edwards, the way they tried too hard on the campaign trail to project an image and ended up making clowns of themselves (i.e. the Kennedy-esque football throwing on the tarmacs).

"50 years is enough , " Trump said in an interview with the Daily Caller published Tuesday, referring to Obama's decision to re-establish U.S. ties with Cuba.

"I think it's fine. I think it's fine, but we should have made a better deal," Trump added. " The concept of opening with Cuba is fine."

Russia Boosts Arms, Training for Leftist Latin Militaries

Moscow defense minister inks deals with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua for joint exercises

BY: Bill Gertz
February 20, 2015

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.

Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.

Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

How Russia arms America's southern neighbors

Ioan Grillo
May 9, 2014

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Russia's push into Ukraine has put many on edge. But less known is that Russia is also strengthening its military links south of the Rio Grande and re-establishing itself as a power in the region.

Vladimir Putin has been strengthening military links here, and Russia is now the largest arms dealer to governments in Latin America, surpassing the United States.

Russia has even floated the possibility of building new military bases in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, and putting its warships permanently in the Caribbean.

In the midst of the Ukraine crisis, Russia's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov recently visited Cuba, Peru, Chile, and Nicaragua, where he announced that Russia would also pour money into the new Central American canal project. ..."

My first Navy (post boot camp/A/C school) roommate at NAB Coronado used to buy half gallons of vodka, drink them, and pee in the empty bottles - saving them in his locker. “For a future urinalysis test*.

His favorite music was death/speed metal, and looked up to Ted Bundy, Ed Gein, etc. Even drove a little yellow AMC wagon with the wood paneling.

I think I can handle Ted Cruz as President.

At least he is remembered by his college classmates. :) haha

Unlike someone else, who apparently went to a school that nobody, including professors, can remember him attending.

I will admit, though, I liked what I was hearing from Cruz and was supporting him in the beginning. He really started pegging my finely tuned “creepy” meter after Iowa. It has gotten worse, to where I can see that there is something not quite right about him. I can’t completely explain it, but I feel as if he is wearing a mask and something very ugly resides underneath, waiting to get out.

I hope I am wrong about him, but my discernment is usually spot on. It weirds my wife out sometimes, but she is usually quick to come ask me my take on someone that she is not sure about. I once warned her to be careful around a new pastor at our church that she would be spending time with. 6 months later he was out, admitting to multiple affairs, one night stands, and a relationship with a married female in the church.

That is what every article says. The only guy who liked him was the Jamaican roommate at Harvard. Not everyone at Harvard is a liberal. While the majority are- not all are. Look at past Presidents. Frankly, this tells me what a low life Cruz was, especially his bathrobe ritual while cruising all the way down the dorm to the women’s side to bother the women while they bathed/showered/ dressed/ got made up. Cruz is sick.
