Jeb Bush early Wednesday endorsed Ted Cruzs Republican presidential bid, calling the Texas senator a consistent, principled conservative.
Bush, who ended his own campaign last month, said Cruz has has demonstrated the ability to appeal to voters and win primary contests.
Washington is broken, and the only way Republicans can hope to win back the White House and put our nation on a better path is to support a nominee who can articulate how conservative policies will help people rise up and reach their full potential," the former Florida governor said.
Bush called on Republicans to overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity has brought to the political arena or risk losing the White House.
To win, Republicans need to make this election about proposing solutions to the many challenges we face, and I believe that we should vote for Ted as he will do just that, Bush added.
Bushs endorsement follows Cruzs win in Tuesdays Utah caucuses, where he won all 40 of the states delegates.
Are you really this dense posting this? You see Trump blowing past that 40% “ceiling” last night in Arizona? Cruz great at wining states where the largest sanctioned religious cult(Mormons) is in control, or where cows outnumber people. We’ll trade field goals for touchdowns baby. Why do Cruz supporters have to always be know by whose parent, spouse or relative they are or hiding behind some vet username? Something off about that. Ted will make a decent running mate for Trump, but it’s over. You can to post whatever articles you want, it reeks of Goebbels or that Iraq war guy, but its a free country and you are free to appear like a deluded nutbag.
“Bush has already got his brother Neil and several other Bush people running Cruz’s campaign. I’m amazed it took this long for Cruz to get Bush’s endorsement”
That is an example of Geriatric Old Plotter cunning and subtlety.
Put some turtles in oily Felito’s pockets! He has arrived!
Yes, something is very, very wrong there. It has been more and more obvious in pictures, the oldest child especially.
Yes. Will likely pick up Walker’s endorsement in WI.
Just said the same,.
Now being with the establishment , the GOP, and being an insider , as well as now in bed with all the bushes is a great thing.
You can’t even make how nuts some of his voters are.
Sad part for them is that they can’t even see it and certainly will not admit how wrong they have been.
Remember what some high up person at Goldman Sachs said...either Hillary or Jeb...they didn’t care which.
Obviously Cruz will agree to play nice if they let him fulfill his ambition. But I think Hillary will take Cruz out with his ineligibility. Naive to think she won’t use it.
Yes. Will likely pick up Walker’s endorsement in WI.
As I suspected... the cheap, Chinese-made empty suit has no defense of his previous Progressive/Democrat positions...
As always, TrumpTARDS are just looking for THEIR own strong-man...
Great post!
Ted and the RNC “new guard” ...
FLASHBACK:
RNC to trot out new guard
Aug. 28, 2012
Tuesday’s main theme, We Built That a reminder of Obamas gaffe during a Virginia speech will bring keynote speaker Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey and Ohio Gov. John Kasich to the podium. Earlier, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell will focus on entrepreneurship.
(snip)
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who could energize Hispanic voters, will introduce Romney.
Lesser-known speakers during the week include Rafael Ted Cruz, a U.S. Senate candidate from Texas, and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who with Cruz represents a new generation of conservatives with Tea Party credentials.
(snip)
Among the convention’s best-known speakers are Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the party’s nominee in 2008, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and former presidential candidate and Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
With Rubio, Christie, Martinez, McDonnell and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on the speakers list, it reads like a Who’s Who of rising Republicans a changing of the guard, said Jeff Brauer, a political science professor at Keystone College.

Are you on something because some of the things you say are whacky .
FL my state was a closed primary.
You seriously need to stop repeating talking points and do some research on your establishment, inside the beltway guy.
Christmas just came early for Trump! Thx jebbie....loser!
“I understand that you must spin this but the fact remains this will go a long way toward bringing 2/3rds of the base (that know Trump isnt a conservative) together.”
You mean 2/3rds of the stagnant and dwindling rump party. The Geriatric Old Plotters and their Consistently Credulous Cultists.
Ironically, the only thing that could keep the Geriatric Old Plotters alive is if Trump wins. That is a win/win situation.
And now oily Felito joins the ranks of politicians like Bishop Willard, who draw enemies who will crawl over broken glass to vote against them.
I can’t think of ANYTHING that gives away the GOPe strategy more than Jeb, OF ALL PEOPLE, endorsing Cruz.
Cruz is simply A USEFUL IDIOT to them. There is NO WAY Jeb will lift a finger for Cruz when it comes to convention time. Cruz is useful to Jeb for only one purpose and that is TO STOP TRUMP.
If anything, Jeb will be directing the guards at the convention in Cleveland to FORCIBLY REMOVE CRUZ, should Cruz even have the nerve to show up there.
It’s hard to believe that Cruz could be THIS STUPID, but I guess he is...
Why? Because he was there to split the conservative vote in order to help Jeb win. He was never supposed to be in this position, but if it got down to him and Jeb, the fact that Ted isnt natural born was going to come out, forcing him to drop out, leaving Jeb and his millions in donor money as the last man standing.
Why do you think Jeb always spoke about winning without the base and losing the primaries to win the nomination? It all makes sense now, doesnt it?
Trump was the wildcard they didnt expect.
Best analysis I've seen yet on the dynamic of this primary.
Who cares?
Like Jeb! would know.
