The presidential campaign for Ohio Gov. John Kasich is crying foul over reports that rival candidate Sen. Ted Cruz said in a private Manhattan meeting that Kasich didnt make the ballot in New York state.

It’s all BS.
Cruz thought he’d drop it out there, someone clued him in, and he tinkered with his story to save face. If you followed the Ben Carson thing you’ll see this is his MO.
However, 2 different reporters, from 2 different outlets, reported it exactly the same way... contemporaneously. Only later, is the explanation changed.
No, you are the one who is suffering from BS.
See my post following this one.
If it weren’t for one of his staffers who must have pulled him aside and said “Ted, stop it. He made the ballot,” Cruz would have left this out there. He had to quickly turn his political ship of state before he was outed as a liar....again.
Why do you think Sen Cruz has to keep implying that there is some sort of problem with an opponent being on the ballot? Is he insecure? For the record, NONE of the other 16 original candidates ever stated that about any of their opponents, only Cruz did that. And it’s alleged that he has done it with 3 candidates now: Carson, Rubio, and Kasich.
Is he just the most unlucky cat in the game?
I’m just saying, having dealt with many NY Boards of Election at the county level, it’s never a secret. Paperwork is checked immediately after the day it is due and reported ASAP as accepted or not. Anybody can call and find out. Everybody would know well before the primary. Any Republican donor would already know the truth. I’ve guessed before the fact that I didn’t think someone would make it on a ballot, and I’ve been mostly right, a couple of times wrong. But NY Republicans know how easy it is to find out after the paperwork is due.
I don’t think we are necessarily in disagreement. I think Cruz put it out there, facts be damned, and hoped he might get away with it. I think he was then clued in, based on the very kinds of details you posted, and had to yank it back.
Apparently Donald Trump’s good fried George Soros is funding Kasich to help Trump which in turn will help Hillary win the election.
Nunberg ? Fired twice by Trump ? proclaimed in December that Trump was months away from folding his tent? THAT Nunberg ?
Kasich is a anti-gun Quisling.
When Kasich ran for governor the NRA endorsed his Demonrat opponent!
But, again, it doesn’t matter. The damage has been done because all these people just want to hate anyone who is not Trump so bad, they jump at every little piece of bait, no matter how tainted, and swallow it hook, line, and sinker, ala Obama 2008.
Cruz better watch it; he could turn Trump & Kasich into allies.

Well KAsich and Trump are already allies. Kasich is staying in to be Trump’s VP.
“Cruz better watch it; he could turn Trump & Kasich into allies.”

I believe we shall find out one day that Trump and Kasich already have an alliance. This is the only logical explanation for Johnny Mailbags remaining in the race this long past his expiration date!
Yep, if you don’t like Trump, you are instantly part of the “establishment” that doesn’t want to “make America great again”.
Pretty crazy.
We warned people in 2008 not to follow Obama blindly, with his theatrics and vague generalities.
Now, our own party has fallen for it.
So, now it looks like the election will probably come down to a more than willing donor to democrats and a more than willing recipient of those donations.
Good luck, folks.
We are going to need luck and a lot more.
Let’s hope not too much damage is done in the next 4 years.
Trump also supported the “assault weapon” ban.
The common denominator of Trump, Soros, and Kasich is they all have a vested interest in keeping the crimes of the Clintons under cover.
Trump and Soros are directly connected to the Clintons so if the Clintons crimes come out it will come back on them.
With Kasich there is no way possible Kasich went through the Clinton years and didn’t know what the Clintons were up to.
Matter of fact it’s pretty much the same with all the big names that seem to be falling all over themselves for Trump.
All have a Clinton problem.
If the crimes of the Clintons come out nobody will believe them that they were completely clueless as to what the Clintons were doing and their careers will be over.
All these Trump supporters fantasize about President Trump going after the Clintons but he can’t without implicating himself in their crimes because he was funneling money to the Clintons.
The Clintons money laundering, Hillary’s email, and Benghazi are all connected so you can’t go after one without going into the other and it all goes back to the Clinton years.
Ah, the Ted talking point he’s been using for a week or so...
The only reason John is in the race is that he must be auditioning to be Donalds VP.
Despite Johns statements that at least if not more anti Trump than those made by Ted. And despite John’s public statements he’s is playing for an open convention where he can work the system.
And using Cruzbot logic, why shouldn’t he? Until Trump gets 1237, it’s perfectly acceptable for him to stay in the race. He might get 1237 on the second ballot.
Of course, that only applies when we’re talking about Desperate Ted.
