I am concerned about Trump’s negatives, but I’m also wary of the polls showing that Cruz would beat her.
The problem is no one other than political wonks like us know who Cruz is. It would be a different ball game in the general election, when Hillary and the media begin to “define” him.
He may end up doing well; I don’t know. But at this point it’s a crapshoot. Trump is well known already and getting a ton of negative press, so of course his negatives are high.
I was hoping Cuba would get nuked today.

I have been happy on this DAILY Rush Thread thread for many, many years now. I have never heard you of in my nearly 16 years on FR until a few weeks ago when you reared your ugly head here.
This Daily Rush thread has served as a *sort* of Rush Limbaugh fan thread, although of course criticism of Rush and debate about what he says are always welcome.
But you and certain others who have recently surfaced on this thread -- day after day -- chronically whining and complaining about how awful Rush is, what a sellout he is, yadda yadda yadda -- have descended far below "criticism". It's constant, condescending whining, moaning and complaining. Of Rush and of anyone who doesn't agree with you.
It begs the question: WHY are you still here every day??

You and me both. It was 1979 those were a brilliant way of preparing his coming campaign. Anyone who listened to them never doubted Reagan’s intellect or mastery of politics.
In a fashion Trump’s rallies are similar to Reagan’s series of commentaries, at least as far as rallying support. But without the substance of Reagan’s commentaries. IIRC they were collected into a book edited by Martin Anderson. It may have been titled ‘Reagan in His Own Words’.
Watch some of these cons repeat that term in every post.

Sorry, but many of us have been very specific in our criticisms of Rush lately. They’ve been enumerated time and time again. Rush wants to hold himself out as the “Nations Truth Detector” and “Dr. of Democracy”...fine, but when he’s not acting in accordance with what he says he believe, we’re going to call him out on it.

Well he’s not a great thinker although he is a clever and gifted wordsmith.
He’s not a political activist or leader, he never worked as a part of a group on any campaign.
I guess he’d be a pamphleteer. Maybe he would have been a journalist in the era when there were official party newspapers.
His talent is so peculiar to radio it’s hard to know where he would have used it without radio.
Good thing is however six months from now your ass will be gone and we will get back to enjoying what used to be a great thread.
