Red, this is why Cruz has been such a loon the last week or two.
He is so DONE, unless he can get the GOPE to cheat and install him, but they can not stand him!
This is where Cruz’s political career comes in handy. He’s got this thing planned to the nth degree including attending state conventions to influence delegate picks. Trump can’t compete with that stuff because 1) he’s funding his own campaign and 2)he’s not a slimy politician.
They (the “Establishment”) are so stupid. Every day.
His foreign wives helps Trump in the argument that Trump is against immigrants. He’s not against immigrants, he marries them! He’s only against illegal immigrants.
The Fox moderator asked Newt Gingrich if Newt gave Trump any advice in that meeting they had yesterday. Newt said something like, “No. I wouldn’t presume to give Trump any advice, because my advice would go against everything he is doing, and clearly what he is doing, his instincts, he’s brilliant and nothing I could offer could possibly help him.”
Dude, I'm just as pro-Trump as the next guy (already voted for him here in SC!) but I wouldn't vote for Hillary if Trump somehow doesn't get the nomination. Voting for Hillary would accomplish nothing (good).

True. I was with Cruz until the Beck-Bush-Romney additions. No way can I support a candidate in league with these devils.
HIstorically... the contested convention is rarely a good thing for anyone.... usually you wind up with a dark horse candidate winding up the nominee after lots of ballots.... Granted hasn’t been one in a long time, and haven’t had a major one in the primary era... but still historically a contested election doesn’t tend to favor the 1st or 2nd or even 3rd place folks on the first ballots.
