Sen. Ted Cruz landed an immediate blow on GOP presidential rival Donald Trump, who spoke before him Monday at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference, for how the front-runner referred to the Palestinian people.
"Let me say at the outset, perhaps to the surprise of the previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948," Cruz said to lead off his speech in Washington.
Trump repeatedly referred to the Palestinian people as "Palestine" during his remarks just minutes before Cruz. Neither the United States nor Israel recognizes Palestine as a country...

Ted and Heidi Cruz have $1million in outstanding loans. They really have bet the farm on getting on the White House gravy train. Ted has burned so many bridges that no one is going to bring business to Heidi at Goldman-Sacks if he doesn’t win. They are truly desperate! Desperate people do desperate things!
We were discussing international affairs where his predictions have proven true. THAT track record. Since he earned it, I see no reason why Trump can’t give his money to whomever he pleases, including the millions he has kindly and generously given to numerous charities.
The MAJOR issues sinking our country are well within Trump’s expertise and no other candidate’s knowledge at all. THE ECONOMY!Trump knows hos to make money. All the others only know how to spend other people’s money, not their own.

The State of Palestine is recent, there being "no Palestine" until the State of Palestine was created is just BS and Cruz should know the difference between the two if he's nearly as smart and well educated as he and his supporters claim he is.
The White House it the ultimate prize for the man who has everything else. It is the top award for history.
You make a lot of assumptions about who Trump really is without any hard evidence to support it. You will know them by their fruit. Trump’s fruit is his own enrichment, buying of politicians to further his wealth, praising vile people that will damage many other peoples lives to get what he wants. He’s never been the champion of any conservative cause to make other peoples lives better.
Regarding Palin, she also endorsed McCain at a critical time. McCain is one of the most vile back stabbing Republicans there is. She chose friendship over principle. She’s known Trump a long time, probably longer than she knew McCain when she endorse him.
Can you honestly say you know for sure she chose principle verses friendship with Trump?

I was going by “Notoriety is fame you get from being part of a misfortune.” The woman was homeless, and was suffering from PTSD, among other ailments. This would be considered misfortune. Oprah pretty much interviews these types of guests. Somewhat sensational. Or stories that pull at one’s heartstrings. The woman was open about these issues.

Palestine is the name of an area of land. Not a jurisdiction. Not a nation state. Not a legal authority.
Talking about Palestine is no different than talking about Appalachia. In the sense they both have specific cultures, etc. They are part of various states and/or countries with different legal jurisdictions.

I'm not seeing the major screw-up by Trump since the region has been called Palestine my whole life and the State is something new. Definitions change but the reality is that both the Israelis and the Arabs in that region are all residents of Palestine based on what was taught in schools up until the late seventies or probably the mid-eighties.
What about it?
My call on Trump is not plucked out of the thin air. There has been plenty for an unbiased eye to see to gauge just what kind of man he is. A simple gesture like waiting with Ben Carson at the debate when Carson missed his name and the other candidates walked right by. I certainly know he is flawed but I read him as a good hearted man with a sincere desire to help the country his children and grandchildren will also grow up in.
Cruz, otoh, made this video that, to me, speaks volumes about his character. Or lack of character. Really made me cringe. To each his own. My 52 years tell me one thing. I'm guessing you are considerably younger. Try to always keep an open mind.

Well “Palestinians” were really Arabs. Might as well call everyone there “residents” of the Middle East.
There’s a huge difference between the name of an area and a nation state. Calling it Palestine in the context of a legal entity is something all together different.
