At least trump has a chance. Just watched Cruz on CNN. Every word spoken was a lie. No wonder he’s your hero.
Let me say at the outset, perhaps to the surprise of a previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948.
Apparently no one YET has given you THE INFO.
So here is what I remember from a post I read earlier:
The UN said in 2012 that from now on, all of this stuff will be referred to as *Palestine* — UNQUOTE
[ Seems the idiot Cruz in his eagerness to trash Trump, DIDNT KNOW THIS EITHER ! ]
That’s what happens when your opponent has 2,000,000 more votes and 20 wins compared to 7 when you think God sent you to earth to be president of the United States.
Sure he does, that’s why all the polls show him getting schlonged by Hillary or Bern.
I listened and did give him a chance.
My problem is the same problem that I’ve had with Cruz for a long time.
He knows what right from wrong. He believes in right.
But, yet again, he displays no wisdom. He’s promising to rip up the Iranian deal and slap on some sanctions. That’s what we did before and where did it get us?
They’re going to cheat. They’re going to have stuff smuggled in. Without inspections, they can do whatever the hell they want.
Trump’s proposing a new deal - using carrot and stick - to get cooperation to keep nukes out of Iranian hands.
With Cruz all I see is a hammer that thinks that every problem is a nail. He has zero finesse.
He acts like a prosecuting attorney - not a negotiator. He thinks that he’s playing from a place of strength, but in the Middle East situation, we’re not.
As he did in the Senate, the only thing that he’ll accomplish is to piss everybody off. Kind of hard to get somebody to the table when they’re so mad that they’d rather starve than eat your bread.
“and had a speech written for him where tacked over to some of Cruzs policies.”
If you listened to both speeches, you’d know that - other than moving the capital to Jerusalem - the two men have very different approaches to the situation.
I thought that Trumps comments on Hamas educating the children to hate Israel were interesting. I can see it being part of a deal that they have to allow us to provide educational materials for the Palestinians.
The mixed message is self evident.
Up to you to try to explain that away.
Excellent speech indeed. Cruz is well learned of what he speaks regarding Israel. And even more learned of our Constitution, which he has known verbatim in word and spirit from childhood. Some of the most critical SCOTUS opinions in recent years that were 5-4 in favor of the Constitution were argued and won before the court by Cruz. I continue to be astonished by comments made on this site about this man. Never, ever thought I’d see it here.
Up to you to try to explain that away.
There's no mixed message at all...If Israel wants a peace deal, Trump will help negotiate it...But Trump has put so many preconditions on the Palestinians a peace deal will never be considered...
It might be noted that in every peace negotiation proffered by Israel the United States was the negotiator...And in every case the U.S. offered a one sided deal supporting and benefiting only the A-rabs...That would not be the case with Trump and you guys criticize him for it by trying to make a play on the words he used...Pathetic...
“Thats what we did before and where did it get us?”
Where did it get us? For one thing, Iran was outside the community of nations; not recognized as a ligitimate world power. (That’s quite enough right there). 2) They don’t get $150B from us. 3) US policy for many years has been no negotiation with terrorists and Iran is the largest State sponsor. Further, there is no negotiation with people who deny our ally Israel even has the right to exist. Plus, where do you start a ‘negotiation’ with people who truly believe we are the great satan in the world? 4) As to inspections, it has been widely reported that this “deal” gives 24 hour notice of inspection, so what good with that do? Plus, the ‘inspections’ are to occur at places of their choosing.
I prefer the prosecuting attorney meticulously laying out the evidence against Iran. We’ve no need of a negotiator when the proposed party is not worthy of any negotiation or deal.

Has there ever been a US negotiator who has been neutral in these negotiation...Absolutely not...It's always been one sided in favor of the A-rabs...That would not be the case with Trump and you guys criticize him for it by trying to make a play on the words he used...Pathetic...
When Trump was stating that he was neutral he was insinuating that Israel needed to do more with the settlements.
Completely different tone at AIPAC. I suspect he goes back into ‘deal’ mode after the election.
Also someone said anyone can make a slip, ignoring that it was a PREPARED speech. That is not a “slip”. Remindful of Obama followers excuse-making.
Lest you forget, Cruz didn’t make all those enemies on Capitol Hill on BOTH sides of the aisle by being weak.
