Cuban President Raul Castro told President Obama Monday that the U.S. must return the Guantanamo Bay naval base and lift the embargo against Havana for the countries to fully normalize relations.

These jokers in the Cuban government continue to export their brand of communist socialism, and support armed groups throughout Latin America. The Castro brothers and their ilk have fostered more disruption in Latin America since coming to power at the end of a rifle in 1959. Tell me, what does the United States get for this wonderful deal, just opening our borders to even more communist intrigue? There is no quid pro quo or even 30 pieces of silver being given by the Castro brothers, except I guess for an all expensed paid visit for the entire Obama family including the mother-in-law to arrive in Cuba.
It was not rain that was falling from the skies when Obama landed in Havana, it was the tears of all those who were betrayed and died fighting for a free Cuba. May those who were executed and died in the Isle of Pines haunt today’s political leaders. May God have mercy on the United States for what is now transpiring; may the fallen of Brigade 2506 be one day remembered in a free Havana.
Trump is right. He would have gotten a much better deal. Obama doesn’t WANT a good deal...he views US as the enemy.
There was a treaty involved in the Panama Canal case—Jimmy Carter needed 2/3 of the Senate to concur (at the time the Senate had 61 Democrats).

I agree, McConnell is sticking to his guns on the 0bama’s SCOTUS nominee and if he caved to him on Gitmo it would all be for nothing.
