ATLANTA - The day before Arizona Republicans cast their ballots, a new poll for FOX 5 and sister station FOX 10 Phoenix shows businessman Donald Trump is poised to win the Arizona primary with nearly 50% of the vote.

The poll conducted by Opinion Savvy shows Trump at 46%, ahead of Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 33%.

The poll shows the race narrows among early voters with Trump at 44% to Cruz’s 38%.

Opinion Savvy Founder and Managing Partner Matt Towery, Jr. said, “It is not expected that the race will come to such slim margins, as many Trump supporters eschew early voting, instead showing up on election day.

"I think Kasich honestly believes he can get the nod at an open convention..."

I think he honestly believes he can be Secretary of Transportation or whatever they give the rogue RINO, under Kunta Kanye in 2024.

“”Bad ole Cruz supporters just won’t quit let Trump win.

Win the remaining delegates and stop whining.

Nevermind Trump can’t get 50% in this FOX5 poll. “

We were discussing FOX, NOT post 3, LIAR.

Ido not think Cruz is anti-E. I know of some well known R’s in AZ who are voting for him.

"Kasich will limit the number of delegates Trump would otherwise pick up in states like PA, CT, RI, and perhaps even NY (none of which are winner-take-all)."

How? He's unknown outside Ohio, he's already ran for shit in not one but two bordering states (3rd in Michigan, 4th in Kentucky, and not carrying a single county in either one), and he has no money. He won't break 10% anywhere up East.

What are the chances that Utah Cruz supporters think he has it in the bag and don’t bother to vote?

The Soros community organizer from New Orleans who directed the Arizona road block is a Mexican.

Trump IS part of the system that Cruz is against. Trump is the FUNDER of all the big government and corruption, that Republicans and Conservatives and The Tea Party, have been fighting. HE IS THE SYSTEM. He’s bragged over and over and over about how he’s BRIBED politicians for favors. He’s admitted he is part of the establishment and that we need to be “a little establishment”. He never mentions the Constitution or constitutional principles. His answers to our problems is always MORE government, bigger government, government as the solution.

Voting for Trump is like Nancy Pelosi saying, we have to pass it, to see what’s in it. And who knows who Trump will be, after he is elected. We do know what Trump is about now, though. That’s why he only can use catch phrases and slogans and general talking points and NEVER EVER answers the questions. That’s why he won’t do debates when it’s down to 2-3 people. Because he knows he’s going to be called to actually give substance to his stance. But there is no substance.

So if you want a king, if you want a ruler, if you want a thug politician who will make people pay and completely obliterate the Constitution, by all means, vote Trump.

And FYI - there is no verifiable connection between Cruz and Soros, that’s a lie, as well, no one is stealing anything.

With regard to Utah, holding Cruz under 50% is a huge priority for Trump. If Cruz gets 50%, he gets all 40 delegates from Utah. However, if Cruz gets 49% (or less), those 40 delegates get split between Trump and Kasich (provided they get to the 15% threshold). So basically all three would get 13 delegates (39) with the extra one going to the one with the highest vote total.

So if Trump manages that and he also picks up American Samoa and AZ, he will end the night with 80 delegates to Cruz's 14 - not a bad night at all.

Not the only person Trump mocked like that. He’s an equal opportunity mocker. He just thought he was special.

Oh so you believe the loon Glenn Beck???

I guess when China tells us you better not elect Trump. This is because Trump is part of the Establishment right?

Notice they did not say jack squat about Cruz.

Then Mexico said you better not elect Trump, and is actively trying to get anyone but Trump.

Again... did they say anything about Cruz?

I think you are denial about Cruz.

Not sure what the math is here at 80-14 if Cruz is the only one who can beat Trump. Does 14 now beat 80?

Perhaps, but I was surprised when he came very close to beating Trump in Vermont on Super Tuesday. I’m pretty sure Kasich received 30% of the vote there in a five man race. Considering his strong second place finish in NH too, I wouldn’t be so sure he won’t do well enough in the Northeast to take some delegates away from Trump, even if he doesn’t win any states outright. (And, not that it matters, but Kasich won the counties where Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo are located in Michigan.)

Do you even know what it’s about?

No you just push the lie even though it has been debunked.

I’m still wondering if Utah voters think Cruz will win easily, how many of them will not bother to vote?
