If this doesn’t prove to the people of this country that these POS politicians are worried about their gravy train ending, I don’t know what else will.

Why shouldn’t delegates be free to vote their conscience after the first ballot?

If Trump is denied the nomination by funny business at the convention, the GOP will have signed its death warrant. We’re on suicide watch as it is. Don’t do it. Don’t do it. Don’t do it. It will tear this Country apart.

All delegates names...and their entire families should be made public.

How does it stand on rule 40 right now

I don’t think Cruz can get 8 states majority delegates

What’s he got now ...one that qualifies no?

The RNC/GOP better understand that there are voters out here like me that will wreak retribution on EVERY Republican down to dog catcher if they rig the nomination at the convention.

Kamakazi voter.

It’s about to become a reality.

If you believe the collective Wizz-Dumb of the pundits, five-way race is predicted (until they learn how math works):

1-Trump - a Republican - will be shunned in a Kadich-fed “open convention” and run as an independent,

2-Bernie - who is really an Independent and has only been a Democrat for 120 days - will run as an independent once Lil’ Debbie gives him his walking papers, i.e. the super-duper delegates anoint Hillary,

3-The schizophrenic GOPe will finally find a next-old-fart-in-line and run him

4-Hillary, the impeachable and inEVITAble, backed by whatever is left from the bankrupt Democrat Party,

5- A rock-ribbed, yet totally un-electable “conservative”, conceived in an out-of-wedlock triste in a formerly Republican smoky room in an upscale resort.

The GOPe moneymaker agreement with the Dem it for the GOP to be the political version of exhibition basketball “Washington Generals”

Wake up the DC GOP and Dems have a backslapping agreement...... and we are the designated losers.

... we have to destroy our Vichy/Quisling/Collaborator leader before we can really fight and defeat the Germans

I want the nominee to be Trump.

But, if all the horse trading results in someone other than Trump or Cruz, the two who have won the huge majority of delegates, then I’ll not support.

I’ll not support Kasich or any other the other candidates from the primary. I’ll not support any late addition.

There are only 2 who will receive my support and they will be Trump or Cruz.

Trump should have vetted his delegates. Truth be known with the dem vote in open primaries at least 70% of gop do not want Trump. He will have a hard time getting 1237 on a second ballot at the convention. He won’t get many of Rubio’s or Kasich’s delegates for sure.
He also should have refrained from his personal vendettas. Gonna bite him hard.

I am for Cruz #1 and Trump #2. But if Trump ends up with the most delegates, I have to say, he better end up with the nomination, as has happened in the past. Otherwise, there will be a lot of voters that won’t vote, I fear.

If Trump is nominated, I will vote for him and hope my concerns and fears are wrong and unwarranted. But, I, personally would like to see Cruz end up with more votes (I know, it’s a long shot especially with the tag-along staying in the race).

I think Trump will get to 1,237 with room to spare. The political class and MSM are doing two things with all these hypotheticals.

1) Trial ballooning how badly the GOP will implode if every dirty trick, including rewriting the rules at the 11th hour, is used to deny Trump. (Answer: Very badly.)

2) Generate clicks/subscriptions.

That’s it. In all likelihood, Cruz’s win in Utah will be spun as a “game changer” so hard it could power the globe, until a few days later when he gets crushed in WI and NY. From there on out, it’s over for him. He’ll be down into single digits by the time they get back to any states where he might have done favorably.

(GOP Chairman Reince Priebus Sees Long Fight Over Donald Trump)

The GOP elites have taken over the Republican Party......they will have to fight "we the enlightened" over just whose party this is and who "we the enlightened" want for POTUS....clearly WTE do not want an insider to keep the status quo afloat as they so dearly do and are willing to throw the Republican Party over for the Socialist Hillary Clinton to achieve that end.....they are fighting for their way of $$$life$$$ not ours.

If Trump and Cruz would band together as Pres. & V.P, we could slam the door on the Washington Mafia for a long time. Two years for a Trump presidency and two years for a Cruz presidency...then another four years after that as Pres. and V.P. We need both their strengths....to right listing ship/nation.....come on Trump & Cruz if you love this country as you say you do, bury the Campaign hatchet and help America rid herself of these parasites! lfe, not ours!

Thank you for referencing that article windhover. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Patriots, as mentioned in related threads, the political party presidential nominating conventions don’t respect the constitutionally enumerated procedure for electing a president.

”Article II, Section 1, Clause 2: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

12th Amendment: The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; ..."

The bottom line concerning presidential nominating conventions is they are nothing more than made-for-TV, dog-and-pony shows to help the corrupt Washington cartel hold onto 10th Amendment-protected state powers that that corrupt feds have been stealing from the states since the end of the Civil War.

And state lawmakers are evidently a part of this corruption.

A friend of mine is a County Party Chair in Michigan. He supports Cruz as I do. He told me the following.

1. Michigan at large delegates are bound 14-3-3 for Trump, Cruz, and Kasich. The Congressional delegates are bound 1 each for Cruz,Trump, and Kasich. The delegates are bound on the first ballot. If nobody has a majority, then they are free agents.

2. County Convention precinct delegates vote for delegates to state conventions. His county uses a secret ballot. Other counties use slates and floor votes.

3. State delegations vote for RNC delegates. Every district is different. He expects a favorable delegation for Cruz in his district as a lot of the activists in his area support Cruz.

4. As far as "will of the people goes" he said that the will of the people is split among several candidates. He's not going to rig it for or against Trump or anyone else. "The precinct delegates vote for state delegates and state delegates pick RNC delegates. If others don't like it, they can run for precinct delegate. They could have run for it in 2014 if they thought it was that important."
