The U.S. Health and Human Services survey, using data from 2011 to 2013, revealed increasing apathy toward marriage in general and a disconnect from the positive role marriage should play in families and individuals.

That's because the left's goal has NEVER been "marriage equality," it has been the DESTRUCTION of marriage.

As fewer people get married then one of the last bastions of marriage will end up being in the polygamous communities.

No small irony that.

Tolerating deviancy never works. For deviants will always seek the next lowest level. Accept men marrying men today and tomorrow they will be looking for us to accept a marriage of three people. Or bestiality. Or pedophilia. It will never end. There will always be a lower level to sink to and this nonsense will not stop until we as a society collectively draw a line in the sand and say NO MORE!

These polls are beyond worthless. When you poll people in NYC, DC, Chicago, and LA/San Fran that are in the welfare system what do you thing the outcome will be?

If a gay party counts as a marriage, why would anyone care about marriage? Of course support for real marriage is dropping - as planned.

We had a 50% Divorce Rate before Gay Marriage was Legalized.

I guess it will be 75% before you know it.

Just wait until Incestuous Marriage and Polygamous Marriage goes mainstream.

There is nothing normal or natural about homosexuality.

It breeds disease and mental illness, nothing more.Trying to tie something like that,to an institution like marriage-doesn’t work.

The government should stop promoting this nonsense.

My nephew has a beautiful girlfriend and they've been together for some 3 years. I suggested to my 75 year old liberal parents that my nephew should marry his girlfriend.

I'm still offended by my parent's reaction. They looked at me like I was an alien and ask "WHY should they get married?".

It's hard to even be around liberals anymore.

Support? Is that what they call being legally blackmailed into a particular point of view nowadays?

The denigration of our society was accelerated by the acceptance of oontraception by the Anglican Church in the twenties, which resulted in a lack of respect for both mean’s and women’s nature and a subtle encouragement to toss away sexual self mastery.

It was further helped along by Playboy mentality, no fault divorce, Gay rights which meant gay acceptance and finally gay marriage.

Who imposed it on us? Who bought into it? What is the remedy?

No surprise... Holland has allowed homo marriage since the early 2000s. The predominant experience is that allowing homo marriage did not create a society where homos actually marry (yes there are a few).... it instead created where every year since then, fewer and fewer of anybody gets married. In another decade at the going rate of decline, marriages will almost be unheard of. This is a fairly powerful argument against the commonly held meme which is that “what they do won’t affect me”.
