The announcement of his immanent grand fatherhood to a Jewish baby was a window to his humanity. His pride of his daughter and the baby she will have was touching.
Woke with prayers in my heart that enough Mormons saw this yesterday, that many minds were changed and Trump does well today in Utah
Amen.
And this morning, with the news of the terrorist attacks in Brussels, I can’t help but wonder what kind of effect that will have on the elections today. Some eyes may have been opened.
The Catholic vote has always been complicated. Maryland was of course founded as a Catholic colony and Catholics have been scattered about since the earliest days, but as a major national political presence, the Catholic vote from the mid-nineteenth through the mid-twentieth century was predominately a big city, recent immigrant block, part of the Democratic urban ethnic coalition. That, of course, all began to change in the Reagan era, as assimilated Catholics were as appalled as many other traditional Democratic groups at the leftward, militantly secularist, and immoralist shift of the national Democratic Party.
To make a long story short, traditional Catholics of European descent, at least those who go to church, have been voting majority Republican for some time. But there is a huge, heavily Democratic Catholic vote from recent immigrants from Central and South America, who vote the gimmedat party line. The Catholics also have their modernist liberal wing, just like the Episcopalians, Methodists, Presbyterians, etc., who are leftists first and nominal Christians as an afterthought.
If you go to a non-Latino Catholic church and poll the people who are actually in the pews, you will probably find a majority of Republicans.
We are hanging here today at this thread apparently through the election results tonight. Hopeful about Arizona and questioning how successful Mitt, Glenn and the savior Cruz were in Utah.
Suggestion. If you have a little free time today, learn ONE HTML technique. Here is Shadow Aces Thread with info.. It is always nice to be able to do a few things in a new way. Practice on his thread or here with your cheerleaders

Soros Board member running Utah online voting?
Morning Thought:
The caucus in Utah are controlled by the church elders. The people being polled will give the answer the church elders want to hear
Utah has a new optional method of voting (controlled by Soro’s ) it uses computers in privacy of individual. That vote is NOT going to go the way of the church elders.
HOO-analysis
Trump will do better than the polls have indicated The church elders will not be happy and will ditch the NEW method
The bombings in Brussels may be coming here and Trump will get blamed, of course. But, it will truly bring the votes by the millions. People are scared about this ISIS group with reason. I suspect it is guided from DC, but at least funded and encouraged!
Vote Trump!
How Belgians responded when Donald Trump called Brussels a “hellhole” - CBS News
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-calls-brussels-a-hellhole/
A high school friend lives there now. Her response was the same. She hasn’t reported in on FB yet.
My projection here is that Trump wins AZ by five or six, loses Utah but Cruz does not get 50, so Trump picks up a delegate or two there.
I too am hoping Cruz is below 50% in Utah, Larry. I note you will be a NC man soon. I lived there many years (my son there)... maybe return eventually. Great areas close to beach/mountains.. milder weather.
Sounds good.
Trump wins both states today.
No, I’m not moving to NC. I’m moving to AZ!!
Well, I’d bet you a Starbucks on Utah, but I hate Starbucks.
well, the grapevine was wrong! Doggone Marvin Gaye ! :-)
I have absolutely no use for caucuses (cauci?). Glad I don’t live in a state that uses them!
Trump weighs in on Brussels attacks: Remember how safe it used to be?
