LOL! I feel the same way about my nephew! I was a hover auntie from the time he was first born almost 14 years ago. Of course I've had to take steps back b/c it's up to my sis and BIL, but I still sometimes ever so gently offer my opinions. He's become more and more independently minded over the years and I've had to take into account that he's a teen and probably going through puberty . I mostly just try to keep my thoughts to myself or word them in a way that doesn't sound like I'm preaching - such as, have you considered xyz, what do you think about xyz, etc. I do love that kid so much!

For years the muslims have tried to get the crucifix out of schools in Italy..in some communist/socialist inclined cities, they have succeeded in spite of popular outrage. Same mentality as here that the hosting Countries have to understand different customs and religions etc...”let’s all get along” mantra.
