The endless parade of biased, leftist political pronouncements out of Christian churches is not confined to the Pope. I went to the Episcopal church on Palm Sunday and their national conference of bishops had put out a policy statement to be read in all churches on Palm Sunday. It was a very thinly disguised and very nasty attack on Donald Trump and his supporters, using the allegory of Palm Sunday, with the usual gruel about tolerance, the lesser among us and the forces of fear. No wonder the Episcopalians are the fastest shrinking denomination in the US.

The only problem with your post is that the Episcopalians have not been Christian for decades. Ever since they started ordaining gay priest and bishops.

At our Baptist church, the pastor sidetracked very briefly into the political realm before his sermon. He said the only thing he will say is that being pro-life is a MUST for any candidate. That goes to the foundation of the faith. He wasn’t really going to go any further than that.
