On Friday, Donald Trump questioned whether Mitt Romney is actually Mormon. “I have many friends that live in Salt Lake City — and by the way, Mitt Romney is not one of them,” Trump said during a Salt Lake City speech. ”Are you sure he’s a Mormon? Are we sure?”
This is the third time Trump has questioned the faith of one of his opponents, despite having criticized the practice of questioning other people’s faith, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos pointed out this morning during an interview with Trump. “Why do you keep doing it?” he asked.
Here’s Trump’s reply:
With Mitt Romney — well, first of all, with Mitt Romney, I was saying to the Mormons, Mormons are very smart people. And I said it in a joking way, but they can take it, you can take it any way you want. The Mormons are very smart people. I know many Mormons. I don’t think Mitt Romney is a smart person. I never have thought he was a smart person, but the Mormons are very smart people. So I said, are you sure he’s a Mormon? And I’m not going to change it because I think Mitt Romney has proven to be not a smart person. As far as Ted Cruz, he’s one of the greatest liars and biggest liars I have ever known. He lies about so much. He lies about things that he shouldn’t be lying about. He lies about things that don’t matter. I tell people, and I think that’s why Ted Cruz has lost the Evangelical vote, look what he did with Ben Carson, who has endorsed me. Look what he did to Ben Carson. He said Ben Carson in Iowa has left. He’s out of the campaign, vote for me.

You’re right about the righteous hate and people have turned to Trump because of it.
But Trump’s hate is not righteous. It’s petty and all about Trump.
He hates his opponents, even the Pope.
He hates newswomen who don’t know their place.
He doesn’t hate the things we hate... he pretends to because he can read people. All flim flam men can do that.
And he says what they want to hear.
The last election, the guy was acting as nothing more than a token Republican to give people the illusion they had a choice. The fix was in from the start, that’s why Obama told Putin “after I’m elected...” I know Democrats in New York city who said they weren’t voting for Obama, that they realized what he was, plus in all the newspaper websites across the nation, the reader comments were almost always 70 to 90% AGAINST Obama, yet the guy wins? He didn’t win. He was assigned another term by the treasonists in our government. This another reason why I want Trump as the candidate, because there is not a chance in hell that guy will stand for voter fraud. They are NOT going to assign Hillary as next President, I don’t care how many “protests” they organize, how many times they have Romney hold press conferences to bash Trump, the time has come to bring in an outsider, a pitbull to expose and kick these treasonists the hell out of OUR government! It’s a government by the PEOPLE not by these elitist treasonist frauds.

I’m wondering if Trump gets elected perhaps Romney should be investigated. Obviously he’s got some vested interest in the status quo, and it would be good to know if it is financial in nature.

Trump has always done what he needed to do to get ahead and get buildings to name after himself.
To ‘do business’ Trump has colluded with mobsters, with Soros, with whoever he needed.
To ‘do business,’ Trump has hired illegals to build his buildings because Americans won’t work for him. He’s using illegals today in service work in his hotel in Miami.
To ‘do business,’ he has tried to drive small farmers off their land so tht the view from his casino wouldn’t be spoiled by ‘pigs.’
Whatever Trump says to you now about his positions is calculated.
He is smart enough to figure out what people want to hear, but in the end, he will wheel and deal with Congress to do what’s good for Trump.

Trump is masterfully baiting Romney as well as the MSM. The MSM gets their headline; "Trump questions Romney being Mormon". This hooks the average viewer who then listens to the clip.
Mormons smart. Romney not smart. Ergo, Romney not Mormon.
Now Romney is stuck either saying nothing in reply or attempting to defend himself; which itself will spring another trap. If he says he is smart, Trump retorts Romney was dumb. He couldn't beat Obama in '12. If Romney gets into the "how dare you question my religion" mode, Trump reiterates Mormons smart, Romney not.

What does it matter what Trump’s motives are, or what kind of person he is, if he can galvanize people, who have felt lost and leaderless, into taking the actions necessary to save our country. As Senator Sessions has said, this is not really Trump, this is a movement. And I agree, Trump is the catalyst, and for that he already has a grand place in history, if we succeed in saving our country.
Whether the Romney thing was originally a joke or not, Donald’s going to go on and on repeating it, just like the Cruz thing, and soon enough, people are going to be repeating it just like the Ted Cruz biggest liar bit, so it lives on as a factoid beyond truth and falsehood.
Certainly the guy who never heard of first and second Corinthians would be the person who would know if Romney is a Mormon or not.
Just like almost all of Trump's positions and promises.
Romney is a modern day “JUDAS”, in how he talks and how he acts.
Trump has barely started with her. When he is done Nixon will have gotten his revenge, and she will be the biggest liar in American history.
