Is Cruz already too late to stop Trump?

Arizona's primary is Tuesday, but more than half the ballots have already been cast — including for candidates who've left the race.

By the time Ted Cruz arrived Friday at the tiny border town of Douglas for his first Arizona event of 2016, he was already too late for the hundreds of thousands of Republicans who had already voted.

Election day is still two days away in Arizona but well more than half of Republicans expected to vote in the state’s Tuesday primary have already cast their ballots — complicating Cruz's attempts overtake Donald Trump as both make a late push for the state’s lucrative, winner-take-all prize of 58 delegates.

“A candidate cannot win Arizona if they don’t do well in early balloting,” said Nathan Sproul, an Arizona Republican strategist who had served as co-chair for Marco Rubio’s campaign in the state.

Arizona has among the most robust early-voting programs in the country. In Maricopa, the state’s largest county, early voters in 2016 comprise already nearly 90 percent of the county’s total GOP turnout four years ago.

You’ll need better bait than that.

McConnell lied to Cruz and OTHERS.

Not to worry though, because DONALD TRUMP DEFENDED his BUDDY MITCH MC CONELL:

“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”

It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a “maniac” when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?”

PLEASE do your research, Trump supporters, but with an OPEN MIND!

Cruz is going to be shut out by dealing with the devil. He’s reaching the point of no reconciliation with Trump. Utah isn’t going to win him the nomination.

Cruz can still be a spoiler. Its his only role other than doing the right thing and dropping out. But, he is too dishonest to step aside. He is now a tool of the bossses and will be in for the duration. Funded by Soros, Romney pacs and the GOPe he is a traitor to the movement.

But, some stupid conservatives are going to keep doing what they have been doing for 20 years and so they are gonna keep getting what they got.

Cruz cut a deal with McConnell not to oppose any incumbent senators against conservative primary challengers. No lie to Cruz he cut the deal.

Cruz coauthored an article with Paul Ryan supporting TPA. Cruz added the TPA language to a house bill. Fact no lies.

Cruz voted for the Corker amendment allowing Obama to go through with the Iranian deal. For that Cruz called McConnell a liar on the Senate floor.

Cruz is a sellout and toad of the GOPe.

It’s not bait. It demonstrates the asinine nature of Raphael Edward Cruz’s constructed personality and ersatz “beliefs”.

It’s all bait, calculated to evoke an emotional response and get me to wallow in the cesspool with you.

I always pray that God gives us GOOD leaders, but I never tell Him who that would be. God knows, and imo, it would not be humble to suggest to Him who would make the best leader.

You both are totally correct.

Unfortunately those who would most need to pay attention, wake up and smell the real Cruz, will not want to face reality, they are happy in their world of illusion and delusion.

Many of these same people helped give us Obama and now they will give us Hillary and the destruction of the USA, as we know it.

MA -90%
VT -90%
NH -88%

The primary’s swing back this way soon: CT, RI, NY.

Those New England numbers do not bode well for Cruz.

I tell you what, if you look back over the past 20 years of the talk radio boom I’m not so sure it has helped the conservative cause at all. We’ve elected many republicans but very, very few true conservatives. They all talk a good game and use ‘conservative’ media to help them but almost none of them are authentic conservatives.

“My theory is that Kasich is there to insure Cruz doesn’t win.”

Interesting, have to think about that.

lol, You believe McConnell; I’ll believe Cruz.

Furthermore, I never thought ANY politician was perfect, including Reagan. Even Ronald Reagan, as a humble man, would admit he made mistakes.

But Trump supporters, like Obama supporters seem to think Trump is perfect, even though he flipped MANY times before running for president.

I provided you with a link AND EXCERPT, can you do the same next time you reply to me?

Here’s an example:

“We are not talking about positions he has taken years ago before he became a Republican. In 2013, conservatives were fighting for dear life to oppose open borders, while Trump was not only supporting the Dream Act, but echoing the liberal politically correct talking points behind it. In August of 2013, he reportedly told a group of illegal aliens, “You have convinced me” of the need to pass the Dream Act.”

One thing for sure: Ted financed Fiorina’s campaign from the start of it. He gave her a half million dollars in June.

The power of those arrayed for open borders, unlimited immigration, TPP and on and on---it's hard to fathom. They have unlimited cash, and that's just for starters.

The amount of money that's at stake is beyond what almost any person can imagine. The financial future of the 1% and their families for generations to come...And every parasite that comprise the Government Class has their career and livelihood on the line: professional career politicians, media (including "conservative" media), educrats, lobbyists---all of the elite on the gravy train...It's mind-boggling. Just think of all the people snuggled up to the government teat---their entire system in jeopardy.

Where you see one Bush..... No argument that .cruz penned the op-Ed with Paul Ryan in support of TPA. No argument Cruz voted to put TPA in the House language that became law. No argument Cruz voted for the Corker amendment though he said he did so because MConnell lied to him. No argument Rand Paul and Cruz cut a deal with McConnell in 2014 not to support any conservative primary challengers to incumbent RINOs in exchange for McConnell allowing them to run for President with his blessing.

Cruz, no argument, would sell us all out for a few pieces of Silver.

No sale. Btw, where have these conservatives been for 25 years while many millions poured in?

Cruz's negatives are bigger than Trump's:

All of y'all are idiots. The percentage of people that don't vote for someone isn't a 'negative'. Actual votes don't show that. You can only look at polls where people include their second choices/people they don't want.
