The Mask Is Officially Off – How Ted Cruz Is Funded By Biggest DC Insiders…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 3/19/16 | Sundance

Posted on 03/19/2016 5:45:14 PM PDT by Aria

Now that the presidential race is down to the ‘brass tacks phase’, and with the glaring reality of Team Jeb Bush, Team Mitt Romney endorsement, Team Lindsey Graham endorsement, Team Carly Fiorina endorsement, and the entire DC professional political class aligning themselves with Ted Cruz, it’s a good opportunity to highlight the uncomfortable truth for those new to the awakening.

A freshman, two-year Senator/Presidential Candidate, Ted Cruz was presented, by intentional Wall Street conduct, as an outsider; as “a fallacy of false dilemma“. If you don’t know what “false choice” really means, click on the link ↑ to read the definition and see how easy it is to manipulate the electorate.

“I think Cruz was chosen a long time ago to be the second choice to Jeb in case Jeb could not make it. I believe they picked Cruz as a stealth candidate to do the Bush families bidding in case Jebito could not be elected. Someone has to protect the Bush family fortune.”

You’re not the only one that thinks that, I do too.

Does “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” ring a bell?

If I could afford him, or needed him, I would hire O.J.s lawyer.

Y'know, you might have a point. Except...

Ted Cruz has been saying exactly what he's saying now since before he was first elected in 2012. And consistently doing exactly what he said he'd do.

If he changes that pattern, I'll consider dropping my support. But, as yet, he's given me no reason to do that.

Nor have you and sundance.

Yep, the Bushes are a long time political family and they are not in politics because of some sense of patriotic duty, they are protecting the family fortune. They may want their son to win but being the professional politicians that they are they would have a back up plan and that is Ted. Ted will do the bidding of the Bush family if he is elected. Isn’t it almost like the antichrist who is supposed to be so slick and believable that even the elect might be tempted to believe him? The more I see of Cruz the more he creeps me out. Go away Ted.

in a long faraway land, i was a w man. then he invited goldman sachs into the tent and i was suspicious. now see what they did, take out the wall street opposition. w is absolute dirt to me for that betrayal, but it was his plan. regan when he won, proved he was an outsider by the people he brought in to run things. you might not like all of them but most were not DC people. Stanford and CA mostly. don’t know who the d will bring in. maybe goldman and the rest but i hope not. ted will bring them back in, no doubts about it. based on his wife and the bushes.

Trump/s such a good credit risk, banks will lend him practically anything.......b/c he pays it back.

Even a mediocre rental property or hotel can bring in $2 million per year income.

And keep in mind, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g in real estate is leveraged.

es but he has a problem in that he’s not a very good tool because of his personality and his provenance.

Ambition - his and those surrounding him including his father and probably his wife - will be his undoing. Not that ambition is bad unless it overrides your principles.
In Ted’s case it has made him a hypocrite.>>>> yes and all of these bad attributes, if they help you in business god bless you. if you make something then i have an distinct honor for you. if your are a lawyer then i’m sorry. at the end of the day you are just a lawyer. didn’t make a thing. a taxy driver does more for the economy than 10,000,000,000 (10B)lawyers today. and i know that will piss alot of people off and i don’t mean to do that but can’t we find men (and i mean MEN) with integrity and business sense that are not lawyers to run this country. obviously not so pick the lesser of all the evils. rant against ted , rubio, fiorina and trump not directed at you.

Care to explain the Bushbots going to Cruz and Romney voicing support for Cruz ?,

You don't see it?

They're using him, of course, to help hold Trump below a majority of the delegates.

But he's using them...to help hold Trump to below a majority of the delegates.

Right now, they share an objective.

Once Trump fails to achieve a majority on the 1st ballot, the GOP-e will dump Cruz like a hot rock...and try to advance their annointed one (Jeb, Kasich, Ryan?).

He knows that, of course, and at the same time, Cruz will drop the GOP-e like a pair of dirty shorts....and unite with Trump to crush the GOP-e candidate on the 2nd ballot.

Then, on the 3rd ballot, we get down to the real business of the convention: a head-to-head showdown between Cruz and Trump for all the marbles (and the mounted carcass of the GOP-e).

Despite all the establishment sailors coming on board, Cruz remains an independent actor -- commanding one of the two insurgent wings of the Republican party. No "deal" has been struck...because the GOP-e had no choice in the matter (backing Kasich would've gotten them nowhere).

The more I think about it, the more I believe the 2nd ballot drubbing of the establishment candidate really, really needs to take place. The GOP-e has already lost -- irredeemably -- but they don't know it yet.

If Cruz' and Trump's positions were reversed, you can be sure Trump would've adopted the same strategy.

Good post and I fully understand what’s going on ... there is one big problem though ... as we speak , the GOPe is busy cutting a deal with Cruz , if they haven’t already ... Cruz is owned by them , and I think he’s holding out for the best possible deal because he knows after this , his political future is done

Why would there be a "deal" -- beyond cutting of Trump at the pass?

The GOP-e doesn't want either Cruz or Trump to be the candidate. And I'd hold that, if they can't install their guy, they'd prefer Trump over Cruz -- they believe he's more, what's the word?, "malleable".

In the meantime, if they want to stop Trump, they've got to get behind Cruz. There's no choice -- Kasich won't get them anywhere at this point. And, if there's no choice, there's no "deal" to be made -- just a temporary truce.

Under the circumstances, they have to support Cruz -- thru the 1st ballot. And he has to accept their support. And, i their situations were reversed, Trump would do the same damn thing.

All of the other GOPe shills aside ,Romney and Lindsey’s support of Cruz belies your supposition ... I truly believe that Cruz is, and always was, the establishment’s “anti-establishment” candidate ...if they do manage to steal it from Trump , we will be guaranteed a DIM win ...
I ,for one, will not be able to vote for anyone except Trump at this point ... I think a lot of Cruz backers are totally comfortable with Hillary or any other DIM over Trump
