Now that the presidential race is down to the brass tacks phase, and with the glaring reality of Team Jeb Bush, Team Mitt Romney endorsement, Team Lindsey Graham endorsement, Team Carly Fiorina endorsement, and the entire DC professional political class aligning themselves with Ted Cruz, its a good opportunity to highlight the uncomfortable truth for those new to the awakening.
A freshman, two-year Senator/Presidential Candidate, Ted Cruz was presented, by intentional Wall Street conduct, as an outsider; as a fallacy of false dilemma. If you dont know what false choice really means, click on the link ↑ to read the definition and see how easy it is to manipulate the electorate.

They're using him.
He's using them.
what mans chin covers their tie. reminds me of the alien in the edgar suit from MIB. and was the mcconnel liar crap denunciation part of the plan?
wow morgan lewis local here in philly brother works for the other guy. not on the list
IF Cruz's supporters are evil because they are wealthy, what about Trump's supporters? Oh, he is self financed? All the more reason for concern. He is only beholden to himself. Absolute power. etc.
Lincoln only had two years in office.
It is the attempt to Cloward-Piven the Cruz campaign. Along with other tactics, like the Alinsky-esque blog flurry over words Cruz never said, and “support” he never gave, it keeps the negative pool-pah going.
I can see Alaska from my house!
SSDD
Bkmrk.
I think Cruz was chosen a long time ago to be the second choice to Jeb in case Jeb could not make it. I believe they picked Cruz as a stealth candidate to do the Bush families bidding in case Jebito could not be elected. Someone has to protect the Bush family fortune.
Cruz is a tool of the oligarchy.
Yes but he has a problem in that he’s not a very good tool because of his personality and his provenance.
Ambition - his and those surrounding him including his father and probably his wife - will be his undoing. Not that ambition is bad unless it overrides your principles.
In Ted’s case it has made him a hypocrite.
Idiotic reaching by Trumpet-worshippers.
Guess what - when running a campaign, you hire the best folks you can find (there are career campaign folks who work for whoever hires them). Same for campaign consulting firms - they work for a check, not an ideology.
And lest we forget what an “outsider” is in DC terms - it is not necessarily someone with zero political connections or experience - it is someone who has views and positions that fall outside the establishment’s views. Cruz most definitely fits that latter definition (and has made plenty of enemies of establishment folks while at it).
And why are we shocked that someone who is relatively “establishment” would endorse Cruz - after all, the last remotely viable establishment candidate suspended his campaign. Cruz is the last opportunity for the GOP to stop the Liberal, lying dirtbag known as Donald J. Trump. And while the establishment hates Cruz, they at least know where they stand with him - and see him as less damaging to the part than the anti-Republican/Democrat/Leftist-supporting Trump.
Thank-you for being a voice of common sense. Many Trumpsters seem to have completely abandoned their’s.
As the Bible says “be as wise as serpents, harmless as doves”. We Freepers have learned a lot in the years that I have been here and many of the lessons that we learned have been painful ones. Politics is a very cynical game, we have been brought up to value the red white and blue but much of the childhood trust that we had in our leaders is gone because they betrayed our trust. So we live and learn. It is to bad that we are disillusioned but necessary to know the truth and the good side of it is that we will learn to be more discerning and wiser voters.
Cruz claimed to not be taking money from lobbyists but his is. He claims to be against the Washington cartel, the establishment but that’s hard to say when you’re taking their money.
Maybe he should revise his claims of being an outsider. That would be more honest - IMO.
Do you think this guy is a conservative with a conservative agenda? This excerpt is taken from Diana West’s article about what Neil Bush and the rest of Jeb’s “team” bring to the Cruz campaign.
Consider the man midway down the new Jeb-to-Ted finance committee list, Houston immigration lawyer Charles Foster. Foster is a Bush loyalist to the hilt, whose Wiki page tells us he “initiated and co-chaired” Houston monuments to George H.W. Bush and James Baker both; and, as noted above, worked closely with Cruz on formulating Candidate Bush 43’s immigration program.
Foster is also former co-chairman of Foster Quan, LLP — motto: “the Comprehensive Immigration Law Firm” — and current chairman of Foster, LLP — motto: “fostering Global Immigration Solutions.” He also heads the Greater Houston Partnership on Immigration Reform, billed as “a nationwide effort to secure sensible immigration reform that meets the needs of the business community, families and our nation’s economy.”
Translation: “immigration reform” that legalizes and probably makes citizens out of tens of millions (and counting) of illegal aliens, who comprise a quasi-slave labor force that has corrupted the soul of American society, from the corporate world to the home nursery, and gutted the wage-earning capacity of millions of Americans. As the lady said, “Adios, America.”
You can read the rest at
but I doubt that you will because Cruz supporters for some reason I can’t fathom believe everything he says without ever questioning that he might be deceiving them despite a multitude of reasons why he might be.
Sure, he’s being financed by all the people we know who are the biggest players behind the destruction of America with wide open borders and off shoring manufacturing jobs by the millions, but let’s not think about that because somewhere someone said that “the establishment” hates Ted and even though they give him the money to run for office, once he’s in he won’t give them the time of day, right?
Cruz talks, but accomplished nothing since he went to Washington.
He is an opportunist, playing a conservative, because he thought that will get him elected.
