I’ve never had a bad experience face to face. The friendly, polite and generous qualities you mention are what I have experienced among regular folk. The public faces however, are now people like Romney, Reid, and Beck. That is a serious image problem.
I hope you are right on the outcome. I would love to see some independence from self proclaimed leadership.
