Ted Cruz openly welcomed the backing of Mitt Romney on Friday afternoon, telling reporters at a press conference on the Arizona-Mexico border that Romney's decision is "pretty darn good."
"Listen, in my book, when someone says I'm voting for you and I encourage everyone else to vote for you, that's pretty darn good," Cruz said, also responding to the absence of an official endorsement by the GOP's 2012 nominee. "And I'll take that - and take that happily."

Did anyone ever stop to think that Cruz is accepting the endorsements and playing along and then when elected he will still be conservative and act accordingly? Sheesh.
Is there the possibility he had no choice in Romney’s endorsement?

I think it is because he knows he could not keep the outsider schtick going for another 4 years. He knows that eventually he has to dance to the tune of the people paying his bills.

That won’t work either. His oratory is horrible. Antiquated, grating, and oozing calculated insincerity. Everything sounds like a corny closing argument meant to condescend to presumed dullards - often a deadly mistake.
He is a paper lawyer. A solicitor, in the British system. He’ll go do billables at some firm or other, probably hooked up via his wife’s connections.

If there weren’t an oligarchy ruling over us and owning the “media,” someone would dare ask Mitt how old Ted Cruz was when he first had USA citizenship documentation. America would be stunned to know that until he was 16 he only had Canadian papers.

That was the first clue.

There was one earlier clue, when Ted voted for cloture on the TPA bill. That vote helped smooth the way for passage of ObamaTrade.
That was the point where my support for Ted came to a full stop. Every revelation since then, has served as corroborating evidence against him.
Cruz, Romey, McCain, Dole, Graham, Hatch, McConnel, Ryan, Cantor, Alexander, Coryn. All GOPe all the time!
