the [Alaska Republican] party said that under its rules, if a presidential candidate drops out before the state convention, the percentage of national delegates pledged to that candidate is to be reapportioned.Well, THAT was quite a surprise for me...
Does anyone know if any OTHER states have this rule?
And how about Puerto Rico? or MN or DC? (where Rubio had significant numbers)
and is there any difference between "dropping out" vs "suspending"?
That assures that the votes cast amount to something.
