Muhammad Tahir Javed is a Pakistani born, American business magnate, entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor and a television personality. He is the president and founder of various businesses within the wholesale, FMCG, healthcare, agriculture and real estate industry. His extravagant lifestyle, outspoken manner and success has made him a well-known businessman throughout United states and Pakistan. Muhammad Tahir Javed originally established his reputation as the founder and president of Starco Impex Inc. a wholesale & distribution company and one of the biggest suppliers of FMCG to convenience stores and later explored in different ventures.
Muhammad Tahir Javed and his brother Shawn Javed began their business with one convenience store in Beaumont, Texas.
While visiting California, he discovered a bunch of Dollar Stores and started their own Dollar store concept in Texas. After their first store in Beaumont, their Dollar stores grew and expanded throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. He realized that additional revenue could be made by supplying their stores with merchandize, so they opened a wholesale warehouse in Beaumont, Texas. As their wholesale business flourished and expanded, the need for product became an issue. He expanded their company into buying bulk and reselling to wholesalers nationwide and that’s when in 1992, Starco Impex Inc came in existence. Muhammad Tahir Javed got married with Rubina Javed in 1990 and has 4 kids. (Saad Javed, Ilsa Javed, Abraham Javed and Khadeja Javed).
Tahir Javed’s business has become one of the largest distributors in the US. Their client base of giant operations include Sam’s Club, Coremark and Mclane. Their business has expanded into direct selling to major retailers like, Wal-Mart, Circle K, 7-11, Flying J Truck Stops, Restaurant Depots, Cash Magic Casinos and Vitamin Shoppe. He has warehouses in multiple cities and within six states in U.S.A. The distribution operations began exporting internationally to companies like Johnson & Johnson, Clorox and Colgate Palmolive. Mr. Javed’s company has approximately 35 of its own brands which are recognized nationally and sold in major multinational chain stores. He also manufactures brands for other companies, especially in the beverage category. In addition to this, Muhammad Tahir Javed also has a management team in China who overlooks the contracted electronic vapor manufacturing facility there. Muhammad Tahir Javed is the CEO of the hospital called Riceland Medical Center in Winnie, Texas, which has a critical access designation and has been serving the local community for over half a century. Muhammad Tahir Javed was also on the committee that hosted then Governor George Bush’s visit to Southeast Texas.
