I should add that this theme that Cruz is a liar is old and tired and unsubstantiated. But say it long enough, and people start clinging on to it. He’s not a “liar.”

Dominionism seems to take a Machivellian view of “occupation” and control as shown by Cruz’s campaign. BTW, one of their websites has the motto “after Salvation is Occupation” going on how Christians must ‘occupy’ (in a political sense).
