A Florida man has been convicted of attempting to assassinate a federal judge.
The U.S. Attorneys Office in Jacksonville reports in a news release that jurors convicted 27-year-old Aaron Richardson of attempted murder and multiple other counts Thursday. His sentencing date has not been scheduled.
Richardson, a Jacksonville resident, was arrested in June 2013, several days after authorities say he fired a stolen rifle at Judge Timothy Corrigans home, missing the judge by inches.

Florida Man strikes again!
What an idiot....
He’ll spent a lifetime behind bars wondering what led him to target a federal judge in the first place.
Aaron Richardson chose... poorly.
Reminds me of the pawn shop owner in Reno who killed his wife and then took a shot at a judge from a parking garage. I was in that pawn shop and talked to him about a sewing machine. But it did not have a foot pedal to try it out so I passed. He was one good looking dude.
I'm tellin' ya, bro, it was INCHES..! Thiiiiis close, bro..! Dayum..!
That has to be the stupidest plan I have ever heard of.
Well, he looks about as dumb as his plot. Glad he missed the judge, though.
was the judge liberal or honest...
100%
2013???????????????????
