please.... do not take this incorrectly..
I need to ask and have this answered....
define conservative...
Most would probably say, "Anyone who agrees with me."
“define conservative”
Constitutionally originalist. What they wrote is what they meant. We’re required to play by those rules, or constitutionally change the rules.
Strong military.
Limited Government.
Bill of Rights, including especially #1, 2, and 10.
Low Tax, including low taxes on trade.
Low Spend.
Pro Family (or at least not anti-family, like Welfare currently is)
Pro Religion. (You pick your own, and the government does not intervene, except to approve of the fact that people ought to be free to be religious.)
Pro Law Enforcement (not Pro-Law-Breaking-Illegal-Alien). Includes the willingness to repeal laws we don’t intend to enforce.
Free Market.
That’s close enough to my view of “conservative” for the purposes of discussion.
Haven’t you heard? The term “conservative” has been highjacked this cycle. EVERYBODY is a conservative now with an “R” behind their name.
Look at Linday Graham, McCain, even Neil Bush “R” civilian.
Hang around and watch the entire GANG of EIGHT call themselves “conservatives” to slowly roll out and endorse Cruz.
>>>define conservative...<<<
At it’s most basic meaning it simply defines all those that despise Democrats and everything they stand for.
Works for me!
It is white to black. In this new polarized nation, it is everyone that stands on the right side of history. It is those that appreciate the price our fathers paid that died on the battlefield that we can even have this conversation.
Some want to believe a conservative is anyone with an R on their voter registration card - but congress has proven that the word ‘conservative’ is going the way of other great words like ‘gay’ and ‘bad.’ They no longer mean what they once meant.
IOn Thursday night, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin took on the rising tide of populist nationalism with a history lesson.
Populism, Levin explained, is really just progressivism. The populist movement in America was the forerunner of the progressive movement, and both populism and progressivism share the same disdain for constitutionalism that conservatives reject.

Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. Conservatives must reject populism and return our focus to constitutional limited government. Populism embraces big government statism, Levin said.
Constitutional conservatism embraces liberty.
And that is the contrast between Donald Trumps populism and Ted Cruzs conservatism.

who should Christians vote for?
And with a lifetime of donating to nd openly verbally supporting all the democrats and a handful of rinos, Donald Trump is CLEARLY NOT the candidate that conservatives should be going for.
And in my opinion, it is NOT conservatives who are.
