Trumps victories on Tuesday extended his delegate lead and forced Sen Marco Rubio out of the race. Mr. Trumps path to winning enough delegates to secure the Republican nomination is not assured, but he is in a strong position. If Mr. Trump maintains his current level of support in the remaining races, he would almost certainly secure the nomination.
After Tuesdays contests, no other candidate retains a real chance of capturing the delegates required to win the nomination outright. Mr. Rubio dropped out, Gov. John Kasich of Ohio is too far behind, and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas would need to win the vast majority of the remaining delegates a near impossibility.
But Mr. Trump still needs to win most of the remaining delegates to avoid a contested convention. If he continues his current performance and wins a series of key states like Arizona, California and New York he would get the needed delegates. Exit polls have indicated that most of Mr. Rubios support could be distributed to Mr. Trumps competitors. If this support consolidates with, say, 80 percent of Mr. Rubio's voters going to Mr. Cruz this would cut into Mr. Trumps delegate lead.
But gains by Mr. Cruz may not prevent Mr. Trump from winning the key states that ensure him enough delegates.
This interactive delegate calculator (at web site) uses each states delegate allocation rules, along with estimates of how favorable each district is for each candidate. To compute these estimates, we used a model based on polling, demographics and results from past primaries and caucuses.
Delegate totals as of March 15 are estimates of how all the delegates for each state will be allocated.

Leading up the NBC issue. After 200 years it is still unsettled law. For this generation and all to follow it must be settled. If Rubio was elected all anchor babies would qualify. Think about it: ALL Those Chinese born in LA would be eligible ?
Trump stated at first debate he wouldn’t consider Cruz unless he settled the issue. He still can request that judgment
Spot on!!
Feel the exact same way about the Lyin Ted.
Amen!!
Add to that:
Cruz is NOT a natural born citizen and there are plenty of Marxocrat judges willing to rule against him.
“But since Trump is on his way to winning outright ... what does Cruz have to offer?”
He has the best ground game and organization of all the candidates. He can add that to the ticket.
He also has alot of supporters who are currently not happy with Trump. He could bring them to be pretty enthusiastic supporters of a Trump/Cruz ticket, or perhaps a Cruz Supreme Court appointment, or a Cruz Attorney General.
Cruz has a lot to offer.

I see that. It's confusing. I don't know what is happening technically. It's possible that the mods pull some of the articles for reasons I do not know after I post the link -- there was one article recently by a banned author I didn't know about. As for the Ann article, that's not the case. Worst case: I've been hit by the recent wave of macintosh malware. Best case: I'm just exhausted and mis-keying more than before.
When a candidate drops out many of his supporters gravitate towards the frontrunner. That's Trump.
Almost none go for a sure loser. That's Kasich.
Barring someone scoring a major hit on Trump, with a new scandal or something, he's now unstoppable.
Your instincts on Cruz and the Supreme Court may be right on.
I have no clue, but that seems to be what is popular even among TRUMP supporters, to prompt Ted to go and find a job.
Personally, I think he is a perfect fit for a radio talk show, given his propensity for speaking, debating and arguing, until the cows come home.
I live 50 miles south of Cleveland...I'll be there with you!
Go TRUMP!
