House Speaker Paul Ryan's spokeswoman says he is not interested in the Republican nomination for president.
The possibility of Ryan possibly securing the nomination at a contested Republican Party convention started when he said in a CNBC interview "there are a lot of people running for president. We'll see. Who knows?"
Former House Speaker John Boehner said Wednesday he would support Ryan if Republicans can't nominate any candidate at the convention.
But Ryan spokeswoman AshLee Strong tried to move quickly to quash any talk of Ryan becoming the nominee.

you will be lucky if you hold your seat after the primaries sellout-boy...
wait... he IS being primaried, isn’t he????
Sure Ryan is interested, just as Hubert Humphrey was.
Paul Ryan is the only hope left for the GOP political aristocracy.
Trump , who is being assailed on all sides, simply needs to beat Cruz like a drum, and America needs to know that if Trump is not supported overwhelmingly
by the electorate, then Hillary wins and puts America into darkness and confusion for decades.
We need to have The Donald’s back. Lets make it so.
There is a Facebook page but no candidate yet.
Fking liar
The felling is mutitle, Paul
It is good that Ryan does not make a stand because as usual, he will fail to take the correct one: Endorse Trump and stand 100% behind him. That does not take even one brain cell to understand.
Trial balloon has landed already?
Cruz in the race now does nothing but help Hillary and the GOPe.
Aww shucks I guess I’ll run (when he gets drafted by the establishment in committee at the RNC conference)
Well well, there it is, Ryan throwing his hat in the ring.
As in “I don’t want to be speaker”
“Paul Ryan is the only hope left for the GOP political aristocracy.”
Mitt Romney is still around too
HA HA HA HA HA. Nobody in his position is “not interested” in a presidential nomination.
Caesar? Didn’t he do something like that? Or Antony? One o’ them ol’ Romans.
liar!
Exactly. Color me skeptical. This is the same guy who repeatedly claimed not to be interested in being speaker of the house. Right before he became that. Brer Rabbit, anyone?
That’s good because we’re not interested in him, either.
Lyin’ Ryan needs to be Cantorized.
