This would make good sense, but I wonder if they have the kind of relationship that would allow them to team up. I know politics makes strange bedfellows and all, but the birther thing was nasty, as has been Cruz' criticism of Trump.

Personally, I think a Trump/Cruz ticket would be a juggernaut.

Cruz can’t. He’s too beholden to the Big special interest $$.

Yes. Ryan did little but GULP GLASS AFTER GLASS of water
while Plugs Biden sat there laughing with those white
chompers glinting under the lights. (I’ll always suspect
that someone set Ryan up with some sort of “spiked” pitcher
of water.) Debate isn’t Ryan’s strong suit.
