I’m still wondering why anybody would ever venture into NK ... knowing that your chances of getting out are less than 50/50. Fools one and all.
The odds are better than that actually. There are multiple tour groups that run tours to North Korea that take Americans along with other westerners. I don’t have numbers as to how many people visit, but the vast majority are obviously not detained. If half the people who went or less were detained, no one would go.
