I thought I’d seen reports where they were off the southern coast of either South America or Africa so I’m not all that surprised.
Chinese fishing boats are all over the world. There has been a lot in the news about how they are depleting fisheries off the coast of Africa and elsewhere.
Common core geography will work it work out so it FEELS right.
Years ago Canadians were complaining about Japanese boats fishing off the Maritimes; they weren’t subject to the limits Canada imposed on its own fleet. IIRC, they weren’t in Canada’s territorial waters - just half a world from home.
