Bloomberg Politics managing editor Mark Halperin said Tuesday Donald Trump is “one of the two most talented presidential candidates any of us have covered.”
As a panelist on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday, Halperin said that Barack Obama was a “strong third,” behind Bill Clinton.
When asked who the other candidate was, Halperin said, “Bill Clinton.”
A shocked Eugene Robinson replied, “And not Barack Obama? The black guy from Chicago with the name Barack Hussein Obama, who got elected twice?”

That was rich when they detailed all of the different people who were arrayed around Obama protecting him versus Trump, just out there by himself basically. Eugene Robinson was silent.
I bet if one goes back far enough in the archives, Halperin laughed at Trump’s candidacy.

Obama first ran against McCain....a guy who openly campaigned for his opponent. And Romney, who just tapped his pencil while Obama ripped his head off. These guys didn’t care if they won or not.

1st, Obama was an affirmative action election, no white guy with his similar credentials would be close to winning. Second, these guys think a transition and running a large operation is impossible bc they or people they know have never done that, unlike a ceo of a large corp. Or successful entrepreneur. And it’s not hard if you believe what you believe and just say and do it vs. Having to watch each word so you don’t offend.
You’re right of course. Obama is president BECAUSE he’s black, not in spite of being black. If he was white, the media would have ripped him to pieces in favor of Hillary. If he was a white republican, he would have been laughed off the stage.....

Appearing on Bloomberg News the former Mississippi architect, Stuart Stevens, and Mississippi financier/bag-man, Henry Barbour, who carried out the Mississippi Strategy – openly admit their intent to use the same level of vitriol to remove Donald Trump.

They run attack ads, they’ll shout names and make up malicious smears; they’ll follow the candidate around to make noise at rallies; they lie about anything and everything; they’ll pay anyone and everyone to assist, and they don’t care if the high-information voter knows what they are doing; it’s all part of the overall scorched earth plan.
Halperin is like a fly on the tip Trump’s nose.
