I changed my wife’s settings to not automatically. Was previously warned, so far no problem.

I did too,but forget how I did it. :-)

I have downloaded Windows 10 and, as far as I can tell, you can't turn off the automatic update feature.

It runs all the time whether you like it or not.

Definitely not a feature I like.
