Relatives of a 17-year-old are angry the teenager was shot and killed by a homeowner who police say was protecting her property.
The sister of the teen who died identified him as Trevon Johnson. She said he was a student at D.A. Dorsey Technical College.
I dont care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law
way beyond, said Johnsons cousin Nautika Harris. He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals
he was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.
On Thursday, police say Johnson burglarized a home south of 79th Street near I-95 just blocks away from where he lives.

Trevon wouldn’t have ever actually graduated. I think he, like so many others, was just there to play like he was in ‘college’ and to suck up on some stipends, tuition, and grant support as an excuse to not do jack sh!t while he sucked off the rest of us on government money.

And he took his Mother to church every Sunday.

You have to understand
how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.

I wonder if the idea of getting a job ever entered into his mind? That often pays for some of those things.

You have to look at it from every childs point of view that was raised in the hood, said Harris. You have to understand
how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.
This is the point of view that gets you dead before your 21st birthday.

Oh those darn pesky sweet “teens” at it again. I’m sure he was a tiny little “teen” boy. Media sucks.

Sorry, but fate and location require that I look at it from my point of view. And that POV is from within my home down the sights of my gun at your menacing little boy. Bang!

You are 100% spot-on. These students are just hiding out in college, living off the $$ and never plan on paying it back and enjoying a EBT card to boot and never plan to get a job either.
