What people "heard" was "Donald Trump said Mexicans were murderers and rapists" and what they imply to make it a racist statement is "they are murderers and rapists because they are Mexicans". That makes anyone of Mexican descent a murderer and rapist basically and a target of offense.
But most people can see through this smoke screen, it is different this time. At least so far... And excuse me, but where do the blacks get offended? Because Donald Trump stands up for the police or something? I am not exactly getting that connection yet.
