It seems every news agency has their own way of keeping the delegate counts. That is because some assume the special delegates will be allotted a certain way.
It usually takes a couple of days afterward for the counting to solidify, especially when several states had close primaries. Some are because of slow-reporting precincts and some are due to found ballot boxes that magically appeared in close vote precincts. :)
