We Conservatives are our own worst enemies.
We can’t just disagree with each other. We have to character assassinate everyone other than our personally chosen candidate, but even that isn’t good enough. We then personally attack their supporters as well.
We have done this election after election, and we still haven’t learned our lesson. If we are going to beat the Democrats, we need ALL of our votes (and then some).
Attacking each other is only a prescription for failure. (again)

I never have understood why someone would browbeat other posters and call them names, etc., for not supporting a certain candidate. Do they really think that is going to convert someone to their candidate?

This cycle, the most over-used word in posts is ‘sad/sadly’.
I’m wondering if it is because we are fighting a defensive battle, not wanting to give any ground, so we act that way toward one another too. Whereas, the progressives/socialists are playing an offensive game to take over the country. They have patience and a strategy, taking the country one hill at a time. They have been at it for 100 years. If it takes another 50, so be it.
