Maybe, but he stole that quote from Patton:
"We herd sheep, we drive cattle, we lead people.
Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way."General George S. Patton

“KILL’EM, KILL’EM ALL”. Sitting in a peach orchard eating a peach; when asked by one of his lieutenants what should be done about the looting northern army soldiers.

That may be ... but the US (United States of America) has never had a President Davis. My point was simply that without spelling out that he was the CSA president (and many here would not even be familiar with the acronym off the top of their head ... I know it would take me a few seconds to recognize what it meant), the quote would have been better attributed to either “Sen Jefferson Davis” or “Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States of America”.

This one still gives me goosebumps...even just copying and pasting!

There should have been a quote from George Washington in there.
If only someone had written down what he said to Charles Lee at Monmouth. That would have been something to hear.
He was said to have had a VERY loud voice.
It’s not an American quote, but, extremely manly in my opinion:
“O Lord, Thou knowest how busy I must be this day. If I forget Thee, do not forget me.” which he followed promptly with the order “March on, boys!” Jacob Astley, 1st Baron Astley of Reading at the battle of Edge Hill.
