Unless they are a vote for her they are useless. After a vote for her they then become useless for another 4 years. After their second vote to keep her in power, they are only useful to provide protection from the unwashed masses (which really include her protectors) but at least they serve a purpose.
You and I of course are nothing but useless, for we offer her no votes. In fact we are deterrents that are better served as worm food.
