Is multi-culturalism really an ideology, or simply a denial of reality; a make-believe fantasy, where all cultures are equally acceptable, and somehow subject to being homogenized without destroying the very essence of each culture involved? It's definitely an ideology, with the end of sovereign nation states as its ultimate goal. "Multiculturalism" really means using the culture of immigrants and minorities as a means of erasing the cultures of developed nations.
Self-destruction, or destruction of your own society, may indeed be passions; I really question your calling them an ideology.
These people are driven by neurotic compulsions, not rationally focused thought.
