Really? Why do you think the constitution is going to get tossed and Trump will become an “emperor”? On what basis? I know you care about where this country has been headed. We probably share more similarities than differences.

All these accusations over what a Trump presidency is anticipated to become sounds so much like what was said about RWR as he ran against the peanut farmer from GA. I may be wrong about my expectations, but there is a fair chance that your pessimism about Trump is skewed and you will have a far better change of being pleasantly surprised.

At least I hope this is the case. I know what more of the same with the current Uni-party psychopaths in office (and Goldman Sachs/Fed) have given us. $20T in debt, somewhere between $120-200T in unfunded liabilities, ~50M on food stamps, shadowstats.com unemployment at 22%, unlimited immigration and decrepit infrastructure. I'll take the chance for a difference. Whatever, I wish you & yours well. These have been interesting times we have been witnessing.

So you think Trump’s new health care plan is constitutional?

The constitution enumerates what is in the federal government’s authority and everything else left to the states. Yet Trump is going to have the “government” pay for the “25% who can’t afford insurance” and he’s going to require coverage of “preexisting conditions” - from his own words. At the same time he says he’s against the insurance “mandate” after some clarifying when he had said he “loved it”. It is a logical fallacy to claim you can force coverage of preexisting conditions and you won’t require people to buy insurance. Yet you and his supporters say little about that. No one will buy insurance, and why would they, if they will be covered after they need it.

The federal government is now in every aspect of our lives. Another flavor of big government isn’t going to fix anything. Only shrinking the federal government to its constitutional bounds will make things better. And that’s not what Trump is saying or proposing.

Trump thinks the current big government is run by idiots and that with his brilliance he’ll make it work. Just like the good old socialist that says the last guy did it wrong and trust me I’ll make it work - with the same result over and over.

The flaw is in the premise of the plan.
