Many people don't understand that holding a debate with Trump in it means fantastic ratings, and lots more money for the company (in this case FoxNews) hosting the debate. They are simply milking this for all it's worth.

That's one of the reasons Trump tried to get them to donate part of their profits to the veterans earlier -- they had never seen such big numbers. Now it's just pure greed. Cruz is going to have to commit "acts unbecoming" even of a contemporary Senator and/or treason in the next debate to try to best Trump.

I don’t know if I’d go as far as predicting he’d have to go “treason” in order to improve his standing. I do think he would triple down on his anti Trump Chicago Rally related comments.

If I were Trump, I’d just say I never agreed to a Utah debate, and I would be dropping out.

We’ve had plenty of debates now.
