No, it’s because Christian doesn’t mean the same thing it meant in the past.
Fifty years ago a Christian was at church at the drop of a hat, and was willing to drop the hat themselves.
Their bible was never far away and they sprinkled scripture into daily conversation.
Twenty years ago a Christian was at church on Sunday and recognised scripture when it was quoted.
Ten years ago a Christian made it to church for Christmas and Easter but couldn’t find their bible because they hadn’t seen it in years.
Now if someone goes to a church for a homosexual wedding or a funeral, that qualifies them.
Bible?
They are pretty sure they had one as a child.
Like everything else, the definition of Christian has been watered down so some people won’t feel bad about themselves.
Um . . . he wasn’t a politician then.
Well soon Trump is going to be Mr. President to you. LOL!
I don’t know what his private beliefs are. However his dad is campaigning for him at various churches and events, and he is heavily steeped in Dominionism and believes in redistribution of wealth thru the Kings....his son being one.
that is not in the mainstream of Evangelical or Pentecostal teachings.
Trump has been running for president since the year 2000.
By my count that is 16 years.
Huh? Yes he is.
You mean like Ted Cruz is Canadian?
Someone is going to be LOLing when he's President. Can't imagine who.
He’s presbyterian.
Rafael Cruz Sr. was one of Castro’s soldiers, fighting against the Batista government in the jungles. He did not get run out of Cuba. Castro is a communist, put two and two together.
If I were a Senator I would be despised by a large majority of the other Senators myself. Cruz has the guts to tell it like it is, and that goes against everything that most senators and congress critters of both houses want from one of their fellow critters. Except for a handful of honest men and women Congress is owned lock, stock, and barrel by special interests.
Then there's the part where he doesn't hate Jews.
More Carson: Even if he’s bad, it’s only for 4 years.
He promised me a place in his administration.
Thanks, Ben, now we know your price.
Cruz thinks compromise is a dirty word. He’s always talking about the Constitution. The Constitution was the epitome of a comprise. If Cruz had lived back then, his version of a compromise would have been firing squad if you didn’t agree with him.
