Wait, does ANYONE have any record of Trump ever telling anyone at any rally “punch ‘em in the face????”
Well a little context on that would be nice so I will provide it.
That particular disruptor was a very large man and throwing his arms all over the place. Hitting and punching those near him. We do have a right to self defense so I'll give Trump a pass on that incident.
These people go to a Trump rally looking to start trouble knowing that any reaction from Trump or his supporter will further the narrative that Trump is a -------. It seems to me Trump and his supporters are showing a great deal of restraint.
Of course not. It's a distortion. There was a smart ass protester who was removed, and had a snarky smile on his face, so Trump said "I'd like to punch him in the face. He's walking off with a smile" or some such.
Thus, he was expressing his own personal sentiment in the heat of the moment.
Trump didn't instruct anybody to engage in an assault against a peaceable person.
It's just another glaring example of Trump-haters twisting things to more closely match the Establishment/Media narrative...
