Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing the recent protests and violence at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rallies, Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Trump was “encouraging people to violence” and pointed to an instance where he said to “punch that guy in the face” as his proof.

Private property rights extend to the venue paid for and utilized by the party.
But by golly, you get to experience anyone else’s freedom right back.
There is no "freedom" to crash and take over a private event using strong-arm tactics. Try that at a wedding, reception or concert and you'd get arrested.
No offense, but your advocating of using strong-arm tactics to shut down people you don't like is troubling and dangerous.

A rally is not Trump’s home it is a public venue.
It is a private event that requires a ticket to enter. This isn't a speech on a public street corner - it's a rented out space.
Do you feel that protesters should be able to forcibly enter chapels and disrupt weddings?
I have heard more about this then I ever heard about our President telling people, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

Trump’s violant rhetoric does not justify what BLM and the Bernie folks did in Chicago but it is definitely part of the poisoning of American politics. I don’t want to see our politics devolve into a street war between Bernie’s communists and Trump’s brownshirts.

BTW...was it a public event or a private event? You brought it up. Were only the invited welcome? Were the people who were supporting Trump but not invited also “crashing”?

Look, public events with lots of people INVITE some folks who don’t disagree.

I posted earlier on another thread but will re-iterate here. The left has been getting away with their behavior for decades; what they are being met with is new to them and rightfully so. They have been bullies for decades and now met with resistance are crying all the while a spotlight is being shown on their usual behavior.
I am done cowering to the left and their ways. They don’t like getting socked in the face? To bad, so sad; leave our events alone as well as us. They have pushing their phony agenda on us for far to long; time to fight back and if that means kicking a little leftist ass I am more than behind that. I am freaking tired of being told by the left how I should live all the while they encroach ever more into my freedoms. Get in the fight or sacrifice your liberty. There were more than a few founding fathers who did WAY more than just throw a punch, they liked to visit the harbingers against their freedom in the middle of the night. Those folks didn’t wake up. I want the left in fear because they have put the general citizen in fear for even speaking their minds theses days..Time for a “fundamental change”; one the left and the communists will truly fear and go back into hiding.

The left.. the GOP.. the media.. they don’t object to Trump because of his talk, his insults, his anything he does. They use that excuse, but that is not the reason they are so against him. They want him GONE because they cannot control him.. he is not in their group.. the group who is President because they gave him the okay to be one.. the group who has their hands around the people out here who are paying their way.. the group who has been in control for years and won’t give it up.
This group is like a monarchy.. like a kingdom... like a mafia kingdom... they rule it with a hard hand... and they know who is theirs and who is not theirs. Trump is one of us.. he is not theirs and they don’t aim to tolerate it. Trump can win this, but the people are being lied to.. being told what the media is feeding them.. As a kid I never could understand how Pravda could do what they did to the people.. I do understand that today, first hand.
The damage was done when they got into our learning institutions and programmed enough people to demand obedience.. and get it.
When I was a kid, not everyone went to college.. not everyone wanted to go to college.. a college degree was not a determiner of who a person was. That happened between then and now.. the 60s were a time when the likes of ayers got a strong hold on the United States and found alinsky’s book... it does work.. and is probably in the end times scenario somewhere. I never was a follower, but there are a lot of them out there.
I am interested in your thought process. Could you go step by step and explain how this was not a private event?
I liked the fact that Trump turned to face the aggressor and the attacker is lucky he didn’t lay a hand on Trump. Trump is big and light on his feet. The punk got off easy.
