Ooh, I like that! I think I'll use it but change it up to "Proper Armament Language Police" or PALP for short. "You just said your gun's clip holds 10 bullets. You're going to get a visit from the PALPs. They get PALP-itations pretty easily."
Hahaha, but “muffler” is the most accurate, although not mainstream, since no sound is silenced and nothing is (entirely) suppressed but only to a limited extent.
