You are lying. You were comparing my posts this weekend, during which I created zero threads, which means you were not talking abut threads created, but with comments posted.

That makes it obvious you were trying to conflate threads created with comments posted.

Therefore, you were intentionally lying about me.

For posting the truth? bray was accusing me of being a troll this weekend and used ONLY the threads I have created, rather than comments posted to try to prove the claim.

It is obvious that bray was saying that my large number of comments posted this weekend are a rarity, and then tried to use only threads created as proof. Apples and oranges.

Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that’s facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.”

You have expressed your opinion that when but is used, it negates what comes before it. Now look at a transcript of a Trump speech and note that his use of but must negate what he has said about what he would do about immigration:

In other words, you cannot analyze what the word but means when Cruz says it and then analyze it to mean something else when Trump uses it. In fact, if you are correct about its meaning (you are not), then a prepared speech by Trump, assisted by professional political staff, would be more likely to be used the way you think it is used, than when Cruz, a well educated lawyer, is speaking off the cuff.

You can’t have it both ways.

So far, nobody has even tried to disprove that reasoning. But many have continued to claim I am wrong, or a troll, or a BLM supporter, all without any evidence to back up their wild and unsubstantiated claims.

I have posted facts, evidence, and well reasoned arguments. For that, you want to have me zotted? Wow, that’s a leap.

This is the way I see it:

Someone comes on the peaceful Sunday thread and says, “I hate Cruz/Trump and here’s why.”

Someone replies to that with, “You suck, you brainless dolt (insert whatever insult), and here’s why.”

I’m going to take exception to that. It is a personal attack.

If the counter reply was “You are wrong, and here’s why.” then that is OK.

I vehemently disagree with savedbygrace, but he really didn’t insult anyone here. In fact, he was personally insulted several times.

We can keep the peace by simply not replying in the first place.

Some people like to always have the last word, and I’ve seen threads on Free Republic go to hundreds of posts just replying back essentially with “Is so!” “Isn’t!” “Is so!” “Isn’t!”...

Best bet: Just stop posting to that person.

Or, as I said earlier: Do not feed the trolls.

IMHO, our Sunday Show thread, was in ruins thanks to our disruptor, savedbygrace, so I made two more posts before leaving altogether.

Sunday was a lovely 85 degree sunny day outside, so I enjoyed my day with Louie, although without our disruptor, I would have stayed with our thread for at least another hour.

As you know, I am trying to make people aware of the double standard that many Trump supporters are guilty of employing.

Those who really cannot see that they are guilty of this are in the most danger. A person should never allow himself/herself to shut their thinking down to support a political candidate.

Laz, you have been kinder than most, many of whom have attacked me personally without factual support for their name calling and attacks.

BTW, a few years ago, onyx was in agreement with me on an important issue here on FR that saw a large number of threads hotly debated and treated me like a good friend. I disagree with her WTR Trump and she calls me nasty names and stuff. Funny, huh? I suspect that is how Groupthink causes people to join groups and causes just so they will be “liked”.
